In the heart of Fira. Metres from the cable car and main tourist shopping area. Everything was within walking distance to Fira. Also the hotel was ideally situated for out of town excursions. 30 metres to our scooter and the main road out of the tourist hub. Staff were excellent, very helpful and professional. The breakfast served each morning was exquisite with Caldera views and available till 11am for those of us enjoying our vista. The hotel had many different tucked away patios and seating .

Don't mention the location, amazing view you can see from the room and the terrace, the room facilities and decoration, the welcome wine and fruits. All staff there are nice and very helpful, especially Rigas, he is really professional, arranged a every just perfect. BTY, the breakfast was so delicious and healthy you might hard to find same level anywhere in Santorini. Stay in Lava Suites &. In general it's an excellent hotel with very beautiful view of the caldera and the city of Fira. The room was spacious, clean, nicely decorated and furnished. Breakfast served at the terrace was great and huge. Rigas and the rest of the staff were very helpful and kind. Have to mentioned that even we arrived late Rigas was waiting for us, came up to the path to greet us and gave us useful info for Santorini. We got an upgrade to our room and were welcomed with a bottle of wine and fresh fruits. The location of Lava Suites is just perfect with a beautiful view of sunset . Rooms are nice & cosy and designed in the shape of caves . The breakfast is served on the roof top with a full view of Santorini Island which is just amazing and hard to describe in words. Last but not least entire staff is very friendly & nice but cannot forget to mention hotel care taker Rigas ,he is a amazing guy full of energy he can go extra mile to ensure guests have a confortable stay in Santorini. The hotel has the best view of Fira´s sunset and cantera. The breakfast was amazing, with an incredible view. The location is great. The room are lovely. We had at last minute to change the dates of our trip because of some family issues and Lava was always very helpfull, change the dates and not only that, upgrade our room as we finally were going on a lower season. Thank you very much for all!!! We had the best time at Lava!!! I totally recommended. The staff was amazing all of them were Awesome. Thry were all very attentive and very persinal. The food was delicious the welcome wine was local and a nice beginning to an awesome vacation; the complementary breakfast was better than any breakfast you could pay for. The location was central and with amazing view to the ocean and the volcano. The hotel provided cell phone, made you feel you had th staff a call away at all times. The staff here were very friendly, and we were upgraded to the honeymoon suite free of charge on arrival. The cave room was amazing, and perfect for a few days in Fira with a big fridge and kitchen to fill with wine/drinks and food. The breakfasts there were just amazing, and hands down the best we had on our month of travel around Europe. Fantastic views from the rooftop terrace - a truly spectacular place. Fantastic location and I love the sea view that I saw from the window when I wake up ,I think I saw the best view of Fira. Every staff(especially Aris) very nice and polite and help me foe everything. Lava Suite is located at the center of Fira, right behind the cable car station, very convenient to anywhere. And it's just 5 minutes' walk to the landmark of Santorini, the white church with blue roof. Lava has a great terrace for sunset view. Food and staff are the other two reasons for your choice. The staff were excellent, very friendly and professional. The rooms and service far exceeded my expectations. I booked a double room, but was upgraded to a suite with a sea view. Absolutely amazing. The terrace where breakfast was served had the most stunning views of the Caldera. the stereo and tv was awesome. and the shower hot water is super awesome. staff is extremely friendly and helpful. one of the staff stay up late waiting for us come back to fetch our luggage was sweet. definately gonna stay here for our next visit. location is a plus too. The view from the top of Santorini is amazing. The staff is mainly integrated by young people that are totally oriented to make your stay a wonderful experience. Great and healthy breakfast. The cost is fair and the staff don't try to make you pay for everything you do. The view which we could of had anywhere in Fira, Lava Suites does not have a monoply on this veiw and should realise that it's a total exprience that customer want not just a view. I would not change a thing everything was amazing. I can honestly not think of anything we didn't like! I think it would be wrong to complain about having too much to eat for breakfast. Nothing. Facility is not luxury type, but still interesting as typical cave house. Nothing!. nothing really. That we could not stay longer :). I think the suite decor could use a little more luxury comensurate with the rest of the hotel. The room seprate into 2 floors, up floor is sleeping area, but the wood floor is little bit old, notise for walking. The bed is not enough big. Nothing. No negatives here - I would recommend this place to everyone. Needs a bit of touch up to be truly luxury. Bed was a bit creaky, that was it!. nothing. nothing. Didn't get our free bottle of wine and could have done with it when bar was shut on windy night. nothing really except the wifi signal is not strong enough in some place. Accomodations just good. nothing. Very small pool. Nothing. We did not like the location. Fira is just too busy for us, particularly with the daily cruise ship onslaught. a little bit far from the centre, 5 mins walk. The room serenity which we had for 10 nights was exceptionally uncomfortable, from the bed to the sofa. We had constant foot traffic infront of the only 2 windows to the room and the bathroom had a small window when opened, you were completely on display to all passerby. Not to mention the noise factor unbearable.. Management tells you that you have a private balcony which it isn't, it's a common area which was acessible to all.. Our exprience was very disappointing.
