Value for money here is phenomenal. Rooms are and have all that you would expect/require in terms of size, comfort and cleanlinesss. The design and location are magnificent, the pool lovely and the service top notch (they even sent us our sweaters via snail mail at no charge since we accidentaly left it at the hotel). Also, Vangelis cooks like the best of them, so we ended up eating here most of the time (go for the special of the day).
all reviews » We arrived only around 11pm and did not have dinner yet. Vangelis still cooked us a quick but delicious meal. The room was big and well equiped, the wifi worked perfect the whole time, the swimmingpool + poolbar was great for lazing around the whole day, plus excellent views over Elounda. Vangelis is really one of the best host/owner we've ever met! Don't miss out the sunday boat tour. THe hospitality of vangelis and his family also toffee the family cat and Annes little dogs.Vangelis helpful advice on visiting places and his cooking was excellent so we ate in each night in our beautiful apartment with lovely vistas from each window. We will return and have also reccomended these apartments to family and friends. Thankyou from Barry and Louise Gent. It was all good!. letsbookhotel.coms directions, which were totally inaccurate on distance and route and sent you the least convenient way. The directions sent by Elounda Heights were accurate and helpful by contrast. nothing one moment the hotel is located up on the hill - ma be a problem if you don't have a car, but a view frow the hill is amazing. Situated at top of very steep, gravely hill. Regular guests are older in age. Steps make it difficult with a pushchair/young children. Local beaches are shingle. Too tranquil for excitable children. No ceiling fans in the rooms, the aircon was very noisy. Hill walk up to apartment from the village/beach might be difficult for some guests but we hired a car for our stay so this did not affect us. Walk up the hill to the hotel. Beds very hard. The walk up the hill. Nothing!.
