We thought this place was excellent. The room we had was on the 3rd floor and had a large bedroom, well equipped kitchen and a huge balcony with table, chairs and 2 sun beds. As it is in a built-up area the view from the balcony was not very inspiring, but then you are not paying seafront prices. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean and well maintained. The Minos Studios are situated in a quiet back street in a mainly residential area, but only a short walk to the excellent loc.
all reviews » Location of the hotel is perfect for those who wish to relax and have a good holidays. The hotel is just few hundred meters from the beach with many restaurants offering delicious local meals. It is in a calm area. Rooms of the hotel are cleaned every day and the staff is very friendly and welcome. During my stay I lost my glasses in the sea. As soon as I said about my problem to the manager of the hotel, he drove me himself to the nearest optician and waited with me there. I am very grateful f. It was an amazing studio. Everyday a woman was cleaning and tiding the room. The owners were veryyyyyyyy friendly, helpful and very good advisory persons in terms of where to go for food or clubbing or.....actually for everything. BEST OWNERS I HAVE EVER MET. Also, they gave us a lift to the KTEL station (central bus station) on my last day in order to go to the airport. The studio was cheap and clean. Perfect location, near by the beach, and 10 min walking to the city centre of Chania. Also Fr. Everything is lovely! Double was rather huge, stylish, cleverly decorated, devided in 2 rooms with 2 private balconies, lots of facilities for cooking. Recommended for a long stay. Receptionish lady speaks very good English, she was so friendly and helpful! We enjoyed our stay!. Very kind and friendly owners(very good English!); close to the beach; good internet connection; well equipped apartment with a comfortable bed; possibility to borrow beach equipment from the owners. The apartaments are situated in a quite safe area. i was greeted by name by the owner whom i met outside while looking for the entrance:) very nice people, good location - next to the beach, easy to reach from the bus station, a lot of restaurants on the beach. quiet place, air con. The staff was very friendly and let you feel like home. The ubication is perfect, only 50 meters from the sea but in a quite neighbourhood of locals. TV & kitchen, big room with a big bathroom. Lovely staff, excellent location a few steps from the beach & tavernas. A comfortable stay. Value for money!!. Very friendly owners; good location; close to the beach and on walking distance to the old town. The bathroom was very small. Small Bathroom. Nothing. The cleaning service although done daily, was not sufficient enough. Therefore the room was not very clean upon our arrival. Besides, the bathroom was small and had no electric sockets. And, don't be surprised if you see lots of cats and some cockroaches on the streets of Chania-but no worries, they are their natural inhabitants and they are harmless. All in all - holidays in Minos Studios were a pleasant experience, worth recommending!. I expected to have a little kitchen, because I stayed there for 2 weeks. Further, the balcony was really small. nothing!!!!. shower water pressure, very small bath, no electric plug in bathroom.
