Friendly, family feel guest house. Fantastic location in the heart of the Black Forest in a village of with plenty of amenities. Food in the hotel was very good. Will stay again. Hotel also has single rooms, with no single supplement so very good value for single travellers.

The lovely town and scenery.
the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. the breakfast was adequate.
I wish my German language skills were better as not much English spoken. We got by with a phrase book and a dictionary though.

we stayed about 3 years ago for a short break but we feel that the hotel is very dated in comparison to others we have stayed at recently in similar surroundings, The hotel lacks atmosphere & the restaurant is not very appealing.
