No tour of Germany would be complete without spending some time in the
magnificent Rhine Valley and the picturesque town of Sankt Goar is a
great place to do exactly that. That being said, the Rheinhotel is the
place you want to stay. You not only get a beautiful location at a very
reasonable price, you get to meet and be helped by Gil, the owner of the
Rheinhotel. He is, quite simply, a wonderful person that was a pleasure
to meet. He is beyond courteous and friendly. You feel you have made a

Location, room, bed, breakfast... everything. Friendly Gil was so helpful, he sits down with us and gave all the information we need to fill our day and more. We followed his suggestion and were very satisfied with the walk in the woods and wine with light meal at one of the Mills. Getting off the KD Reine Cruise, the hotel is right in front of you. We had breakfast with the river view and watched ships go by. Yet we heard nothing during the night. Rooms are quiet and comfortable with the best .

Gil, the owner, is gracious and cannot do enough for his guests. The room we had, #2, cost E95 with a million dollar view from our balcony of the Rhine river. You can open a bottle of wine, read, relax and watch the world go by. There are many day trips and the hike to the castle was fun.
Location is unbeatable,ferry boat dock out the front,train station short walk behind the hotel..the Main Street of shops and restaurants very close..staff were above and beyond,very helpful for travel and sightseeing tips.breakfast was great and the room 2nd floor with balcony was awesome overlooking the Rhein river..
When we checked in Gil gave us the best welcome we have ever received in a hotel. He provided us with maps, recommended restaurants and highlights in the area. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was outstanding. We would have stayed longer but the hotel was completely booked. I would definitely go back there.
We appreciated the advice of the manager to take the river cruise to Braubach, the site of the Marksburg Castle, also the Krone Restaurant which served excellent food and the best beer.The breakfast was superb. Just down the back lane was the train station yet it was so quiet and peaceful.
The owner was very pleasant and helpful. He went out of his way to explain things to us advising us of the best places to visit and where to park the car without charge. Room was very comfortable with lovely views of river.
Absolutely lovely. The view from our balcony was stunning and as close to the KD boat landing stage as it culd be. The breakfast was lovely with a huge choice. Would stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone.
The manager went out of his way to ensure that we made the most of our two day stay in St Goar and fulfilled our expectations whilst in St Goar. Would definitely go back.
