Our room was on the 5th floor with a tiny balcony overlooking the Rhine,
which was perfect for us to sit and watch the boats go by. The room was
well equipped, very clean, with even a hospitality tray - rare outside
the uk. There was also free WiFi which was a nice bonus. The staff were
friendly, the breakfast was plentiful and in a pleasant room.

We liked everything about the Hotel, owner and his team. Even though the
Rhine had flooded the front of the Hotel and gardens it did not stop the
Owner and the staff from running it well even though they were keeping
back the Rhine . I should also mention that the owner speaks perfect
english and had an interesting conversation with him covering various
subjects in depth. Food both at breakfast eas good and we also ate in
the evening and yet again the food and service was good, The bedrooms

The hiking around the area are superb. World class. If you hike, this is it! It is in the Mosul River Valley and there is not a bad view from anywhere. The owners are very nice. Herr & Frau Wolff are wonderful. I enjoyed Frau Wolff from the moment we met and she guided us around Trier and made the visit very nice. The food was excellent and the room extremely clean. This was a great hotel. The room was small but very clean and efficient. The bathroom too was small, but everything worked wonderfully and it is so well vented that there is no steam after showering. We liked this hotel a lot. Be sure to go out the back door to walk to the old town. -
