The owner telephoned us a couple of days before arrival to confirm everything was okay and asking what time we were due to arrive. As we were going to arrive late she gave us the code for the door and told us where we could park and where to get the key.

The lady who runs the Pension is just lovely, really helpful & upbeat. Breakfast was plentiful & the room rate was great. We had a 4 bed family room & fitted 5 of us no problem. The staff couldnt have been more helpful, location perfect & some great dinner options close by. We will be back, if you are considering this one, I would book it before someone else does.

The breakfast was awesome. The schwarzwald card provided with the room is an incredibly good deal : free access among many activities, including a small ski resort and a big indoor aquatic park.
The location is perfect, very calm, and the owners are very kind and helpful.
And we were also lucky with the snow and the weather :-)
