  The hotel was in a lovely setting, near the top of large hill/small mountain. It had fabulous views and was neat and beautifully maintained. Although we arrived very late, at almost 11pm, having phoned to apologise, we were still provided with a cold dinner.   The Johanneshof is wonderful, rooms were very clean and of modern design. The breakfasts are amazing. The Johanneshof is also a strawberry farm and a restaurant. They sell their produce from a shopette on site. Their strawberries are AMAZING. I didn't get a chance to try the restaurant because it is so busy every day, that there are absolutel... what people say » y no seats available. I guess that probably means their food is good. Overall a very comfortable and peaceful stay. Prime choice for Hockenheimring - It was our second visit. We love everything, and would definitely visit again. The best part is, for sure, the restaurant they run. Highly recommended, especially in summer. The shop was also outstanding.
