  The hotel was in a lovely setting, near the top of large hill/small mountain. It had fabulous views and was neat and beautifully maintained. Although we arrived very late, at almost 11pm, having phoned to apologise, we were still provided with a cold dinner. Staff were efficient and friendly and the owners obviously ran the hotel with a close att... what people say » ention to detail. The room was as promised, breakfast was delicious and so was dinner. We only stayed for 2 nights and would happily go back. - Such a nice place to stay. My second time, and I felt more at home and relaxed than the first (and that was an excellent visit).   We absolutely loved this hotel. The accommodations were lovely and the Loffler family went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Even though my German is horrible, they both made sure we were able to make the most of our weekend in the Black Forest. We enjoyed the four course dinner (made by them!) and the breakfast was also great. Amazing loc... what people say » ation with gorgeous views and very convenient to Schonach and Triberg. They offered a wealth of information to us (and in several languages!) The hote - The husband and wife owners were so friendly, helpful and accomodating! They went out of their way to rearrange things so that we could extend our stay by a day. They also had many suggestions about what and how to see the area. The four course dinner (cooked by them) served in the evening was delicious and a very good value for the area, especially if you were hungry. The breakfast buffet was extensive and good. We hope to plan a return trip to this hotel in the future!
