  I spent over two weeks touring Bavaria and checked into ten hotels in that period. Of all the hotels, I was most pleasantly surprised by Hotel Eder. I was looking for an inexpensive hotel close to the Hauptbahnhof and Hotel Eder fits the bill. Once inside the lobby of this of this most conveniently located hotel, you would hardly k - The location is absolutely ideal - 2 minute walk from the train station and the Gray Line tour departure point, as well as an easy 5-minute walk from the pedestrian zone which takes you directly (another 5 minutes) to Marienplatz. Could not have been better and the price is much more reasonable than other Munich hotels. The accommodations are very typical, with an exemplary Bavarian breakfast each morning.   Modern hotel room with stylish & vibrant design. Our room is with a double bed which is very, very spacious (with writing area) & comfortable. Our sons stayed in a twin bedroom which is reasonable in size. The entire hotel including the corridor, the lift, the breakfast area is kept very clean & tidy. Reception staff is very friendly ... what people say » & helpful. The price is unbeatable (nice & far from basic breakfast is also included!), highly recomended. Off street free parking is easily - The rooms were quirky, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The mattresses are firm and it's very quiet, so you're guaranteed a good night's sleep. There's free wi-fi throughout the hotel. The staff is very friendly. There's a variety of different options at breakfast, including various types of bread and buns, fresh fruits, vegetables and delicious smoothies.

  The closeness to the subway stop was amazing, this was the key for us as we prefer to stay just out side of the city centre to save money but being so near to transit it was easy to get anywhere in the city. The lobby bar was nice, I used the free wifi nightly. The beds here are amazing as well as the pillows and comforter, I was very impressed. T... what people say » he staff were very helpful, I had to leave one night early and they refunded the cost of that night to my cc, I truly appreciated that. - Right beside U-Bahn station then four stops or so into the centre - no hassle at all. Hotel is typical minimalist Ibis, clean and functional. This is great value for Munich which can be expensive to find decent accomodation in. Apart from wi-fi access not much to complain about at this price, and I would happily stay again.

  Our 3 night stay in the Meininger Hotel/Hostel was faultless. Room was bigger than expected, clean and modern as photographed. Staff were excellent and helpful. There was a bar and pool table and space down stairs to chill out outside of the room. Walking distance to main train station and the city if you like to walk and the best part was the beer... what people say » hall across the road! Thankyou for a great stay! - The hostel is very good. The sheets and the toilet were very clean. Thestaff spoke perfect English and were very helpful.
