People are very friendly and ready to help. I received even better room than had ordrerd (for the same price). It's in the center of the old town. location. The staff were friendly, the breakfast is excellent, the location of the pension is very good if you dont want to use public transport but you want to stay in the city-centre near to Hofbräuhaus, and the other pubs and sights.
all reviews » The hotel was located in a perfect place in Munich .Easy walking distance to Marienplatz, churches, shopping, the market and the Hofbrau Haus. Breakfast was huge and rooms very comfortable but modest in size. Parking available in nearby garage.friendly staff and convenince location. Very good location - perfect for shopping in the center, not far from English garden as well, only few minutes by foot from the Subway, so you can go by the train S1 or S8 (better) from/to the Airport. We could hear everything what was happening in the next door room. But anyway it was ok to sleep in the night.We could hear the other guests in the neighbor rooms. There were no elevator. The pillow were typical 'Austrian pension style' ('some down in a bag'). The mornıng receptıonıst made ıt dıffıcult to pay by VISA when the conıfrmatıon saıd VISA was an accepted methodç. Not a very high level of comfort - "no frills" quality would describe itwell. Still, it was acceptable. We have to wait for 20 minutes to get a place at breakfast.No lift, and very basic. There is no rest room for visitors !. the expencive parking cost ( 60 euro for 2 days) in the nearby parking garage. Shower was very ordinary, had to hand hold the shower as taps were in the way, shower curtain had a nasty smell and the bathroom flooded. We had the two room apartment with cooking facilities absolutely no cooking utensils. no plugs in either bathroom or kitchen, Should mention in hotel facilities that there is no lift.Light in room did not work, pillows horrible, had to wait for breakfast for about 30 minutes which disrupted rest of the day's plans due to another appointment; room not ready on arrival(14h00!) and we were requested to wait, but was given another room when complained;curtains did not close properly and next door building occupants could look directly into our room; not enough toiletpaper. The room was terrible. It was an afterthought stuffed into the attic with the bathroom in the rafters. The stairs leading up to the bathroom were creaky and extremely steep. The floor was dirty and the TV did not work.

Our Pension is well located just off Viktualienmarkt. Marienplatz, Kaufinger- as well as Maximilianstrasse are only a few minutes away by foot. S- and U Bahn offer convenient access to local and regional traffic through the station at Marienplatz. From the airport you can take either S1 or S8, station Marienplatz.
