Clean room & comfortable bedding. Good location, 3 mins to Hof station (from Burger King exit). Convenient for transfer & business. Not far from city center.

Some stages at gate & between floors, not convenient with luggage. A slope would be better

Location near Hauptbahnhof, excellent breakfast, clean and cozy room with wifi, safe and teakettle(!!! it was opportunely in December)

Hotel is very close to Munich Central train station, just 5 minutes walk. The hotel upkeep is perfect, looks brand new. Breakfast is extensive, wide variety of options, and delicious. Front desk and wait staff exceptional in friendliness and for providing information.

We had a wake-up call scheduled on our last day for 3am, call was 30 minutes late.

Courteous staff. Fantastic breakfast.

Queen bed not comfortable as it is 2 double or twin mattresses put together. They split creating a gap during the night.

The staff were so very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was super, great choice and excellent quality. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms impeccably clean. Location just so convenient for trains Nd tram.

No tea in the room to use with the machine. Only enough ,ilk for one cup of coffee each left on the tray.

Staffs are all friendly and helpful. Room is comfortable , you can see it is with some history, but still very neatly cleaned, breakfast is good as well

I travel to Europe a couple times a year and found the Metropol the best value for the money. But I'd go beyond that. It's a close to perfection in this price range. Quiet street, easy walking to old town, great transportation access, and totally pleasant, helpful staff. Planning a trip to Munich? Don't look any further!

A spacious clean room, silence, huge breakfast, helpful staff and very close to the Central Station.

Unfortunately, there was only a great choice of coffee in the room but no tea at all.

Next door to the central train station, this clean and tidy hotel is situated in a fairly central location. It is also about an 8-10min walk to the main shopping areas and close to the underground if you need to hop onto the metro. Staff were excellent - both cheery and helpful. The breakfast spread was excellent.

The hotel was centrally located but in a quiet street; the rooms were fine; beds were comfortable and the breakfast was great.

I was slightly irritated that, when coming back to the hotel at midnight, my partner (who does not share my name) had been able to get both keys to the room without actually proving that he was staying there. Especially during a time like Oktoberfest, I think the hotel should be taking more precautions. The hotel was expensive for what it is, but I think this was due to Oktoberfest.

Good location close to Oktoberfest fair grounds and train station - wish we'd had time to explore the city old center as we were told it was only a 20 minute walk away. Friendly and helpful staff and clean comfortable room. Included breakfast buffet had a large variety and was very tasty.

The price - but as we were there for Oktoberfest, higher prices were to be expected everywhere...

The location was very good and central to the train station. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a large variety and the staff was great.

It was a little difficult to cool the room off and we were on the ground floor so we could not leave the windows wide open.

Good location- 15 mintues walk from old city center and across the street from the central train station. Excellent breakfast

No AC so left windows open and did hear noise all night. Not too noisy, but street noise especially in the early AM. Wireless was slow.

The hotel is very close to the main train station but as it is on a sie street, it may be even better to have more signage on the main road for the new travellers to find the way.

Very convenient to the train,bus and subway. Less than 5 minute walk. Easy walk or quick subway ride to old town center. Very comfortable and nicely furnished rooms. Gave us a free upgrade when we checked in. Very helpful staff. Breakfast included.

No individual room air conditioning but they did have fans available if needed.

Incredibly kind, attentive and friendly staff. The rooms were gorgeous and very clean in a timely fashion. Everything you needed (ex. an umbrella on a rainy day or dry cleaning) was available without a second thought. The breakfast buffet was exquisite, something you have to see to believe. And the location is unbeatable, just steps from Munich's central Hauptbanhof train station. I will definitely stay here again!

There is no AC and so the rooms get very hot at night, but the perks of this hotel are totally worth a little bit of extra heat.

I loved everything! Even though this hotel is very close to the Munich train station, it is an oasis from the city! It is quiet, friendly, comfortable, stylish and easy to get places from. The breakfast is unbelievable!! I could have stayed all day eating!
