Munich Central Station is 2 underground stops away. Set in a quiet side street in the Maxvorstadt/Schwabing district, the family-run Hotel Antares has bright rooms. All rooms can be reached by elevator. All guest rooms have been equipped with soundproofed windows and doors since 2014, and the renovation of all bathrooms was completed in March 2016. The private bathrooms also come with a hairdryer. In spring 2016, the whole lobby was renovated, a new lift was built, and the breakfast room was newly designed. Guests begin the day in Antares’ modern breakfast room. Hotel Antares is a 1-minute walk from the Amalienstraße bus stop, which is on the Museum bus line. Odeonsplatz Underground Station is a 6-minute walk away, and is just 1 stop from Marienplatz Square. A small underground car park with a duplex parking system and a car lift is available at the Antares.

Close to the centre (10-15 minutes walk), close to the Pinakoteks (5-10minutes walk). Flexible and 'ready to help' staff. Excellent breakfast.Private underground car park nearly opposite the hotel (parking notpermitted in the nearby streets). Several types of restaurants aroundthe hotel. We have had a large as well as a small room (which wasn't aproblem at all). In short: tip-top. Recommended.

The bed was on the wall so I had to climb over my partner. I could hear the next rooms conversations, television, bathroom use because of it. lack of shampoo and conditioner for hair washing. It was not a problem, but having to climb into the bath for the shower is not the best thing - might be better to have walk in shower and no bath. no iron in the room, no facilities for making coffee, the room was quite small.The hotel is average in appearance; needs a carpet change in places. Room was very small. Elevator was inoperable and we were on 4th floor. Rooms were very small.From the information on the hotelroom it seemed liked the internet access was included in the price of the room but then it turned out to be €12,50/day. This should be changed or at least be cheaper. We have dicuesed with a person of the staff, we cloud live the hotel at 1.00 am the last day. She had say yes! A other person was informed about our compromise.Breakfast untill 9:30 am is too soon. Not very clean, furniture not very new, the room faces the street. Parking is a big problem. It can be ok for 1, max 2 nights.it is not maintained, quiet run down and old, also cleanliness is an issue. Beds are very small, not reccomending it for traveling with kids using own bedding. size of the room was unacceptable even for 1 person not to speak of 3 persons. Too small room and bed for two people.
