Lubeck Hotels

This is a very modern hotel ideally situated 3 minutes walk from the beautiful town of Lubeck. Our two day trip in Lubreck was fantastic, not only because lubeck is a wonderful place with lots to see but also because our hotel was great. Our room was very comfortable, clean and modern. The breakfast selection was enormous, everything you could want was there, freshly prepared. Greeted by friendly staff, who welcomed the children (with their own goody pack - drawing pads and pens plus sugar free sweets) and the optyion of a fresh apple. Staff were friendly throughout our stay, depsite my pestering from cleaning staff to reception. Booked via Expedia, so concerned that "2 adults 2 children" in one room had been booked - needn't have worried, the room had 4 comfortable clean beds. A great place to stay within walking distance (3km) of the city centre. There's also a bus stop across the road from the hotel with frequent departure times. The hotel is spotlessly clean, has a cheerful breakfast room with an excellent choice of good qualily yoghurts, cold cuts, cheeses, breads, a thermos of coffee and even freshly delivered eggs. This hotel is a real find - really welcoming and friendly. The rooms are basic but warm and comfortable with newly fitted bathrooms. Coffee and tea-making facilities are provided, but a radio alarm would have been useful. The breakfast buffet is superb and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The breakfast room is quite narrow and a bit like being in your dining room at home. There are loads of books, games and toys and even a piano! We felt right at home. The hotel was a good taxi ride from the airport but only cost 15 Euros so a very convenient location, not only that but is close to the town centre, opposite the bus station and train station. The breakfasts were very good with plenty of food available with a good range. The hotel lacked a bar atmopshere but you could sit in one of the lounges with a beer in the evening. We have just returned from a 5 night stay in the Park Hotel which is a spotlessly clean hotel in a central location. We shared a taxi from the airport (approx 15 Euros for 4 people) but returned by the No 6 bus (approx 2 Euros each. ) As previous reviewers have noted, the hotel is very close to both bus and train stations but, surprisingly, it is not noisy. located in a functional place, the baltic hotel offers visitors a comfortable experience. its staff,even though unable to speak one word of english, are very welcoming and friendly. breakfast was pleasant (candle-lit) and there was a good variety of things to eat. the bedroom and bathroom were spotless and there was no noise from the road or bus station opposite. excellent value for money. - Joseph

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night after we rang up a lot of other hotels in Lubeck and found that most were fully booked. In the end I was glad that we ended up at the Stadt because we were so, so close to public transport links in and out of town. Location wise I have absolutely no complaints. Thanks to the positive reviews we found at trip advisor, we chose to stay at Hotel Lindenhof. We have stayed in hotels all over Germany and Hotel Lindenhof is one of the nicest. The owner and staff were very friendly and always helpful. The traditional German breakfast buffet was great. The location is very close to the city center, just a short, pleasant walk away. The surrounding neighborhood is very nice & quiet. Ask for Room 511! It's a very spacious newly remodled suite with 2 large bed - Godfrey

We stayed at the Kaiserhof for the last night of our trip to Germany. We booked in advance and stayed in the apartments in the next street, although some of the reviews we read prior to arriving were less than complimentary. However, when we got into our accommodation it was newly decorated, clean, had a nice bathroom with lovely shower and all in a very quiet street. We went in into the hotel to use the pool which was nice but a bit too cold for a little boy(18 months), and also for the buffet - Fatmata

we stayed at this hotel for 2 nights the rooms were very clean and a good tasty selection for breakfast some rooms have kitchenette. bus service terrific no 6 bus direct to hotel from airport, in a quiet area but only 10 mins on bus to town. definetly use this hotel again. from afrequent traveller - Robert
