This was a fabulous small hotel in the heart of a great neighbourhood of Berlin - Prenzlauer Berg. Unbelievable location in quiet area yet steps from the hip shops and cafes in this great area. It was an amazing price/ quality ratio. We had a wonderful, huge apartment for a price elsewhere you wouldn't even get a broom closet. We were amazed about the luxurious comfort and the full equipment of the suite. Specially the kitchen had everything from a fridge, micro wave to a washer. You could have moved in there for living.

The hotel is located in the very center of the city, however the nearby streets are calm, so at night you can enjoy your rest. It takes just 2 min to reach the S-Bahn station, also you can find here a lot of restaurants and caffee. Every day I took my sandwich on my way to the conference without any time delay.
Especially I enjoyed the hotel sitting-room with wonderful fireplace and library - it was awesome!
I strongly recommend to stay in Monbijou hotel :)

Located in Friedrichshain, very near U and S-Bahn stations. The area is a bit edgy with lots of night-life....but it still felt safe. Excellent facilities with a modern lobby.
