Superbly efficient, rapid and courteous check in despite many guests ariving at same time. Many De Luxe hotels could learn from Mercure's staff and their work systems. Clean room, small but practical. Loads of bars/resteraunts just up the road, plus there was a market round the corner on certain dates. Serviced by two Ubahn stations a v short distance away that will get you into central Berlin easily enough. Not going to win any awards, but for the price per night exaclty what we needed

The hotel is clean and new, and is conveniently located for public transport and major highways. Free on-street parking around the hotel was safe. There are some very good restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk. The staff were friendly and responsive. -
