If you want a clean modern room on a budget it was very good although if you are looking for a social aspect wouldn't recommend. - Good location, walking distance to Alexanderplatz, Museum Insel, etc also U-Bahn station Bernauerstrasse. Room was not overlooking street, so in a quiet position looking onto a small, albeit scruffy, garden/courtyard.

I only stayed one night, but it was very nice. A big clean room with a big comfortable bed, a nice desk to work in the window, and fast wifi. It is an easy walk from the U-Bahn station.
The hosts were very welcoming. I arrived wet from the rain, and they put out hot tea for me, and even loaned me an umbrella for the day.

We loved everything! The location is perfect. the facility is very clean. The continental breakfast was just right. Is located between 2 ubahn stations ( wittenbach and the one we used Nollendorf.) There are many nice cafes within 2 blocks and a wonderful grocery store across the street. It is just 2 blocks to KaDeWe and a post office.

My boyfriend and I had an enjoyable stay in The Palacina. Felix is an excellent and kind host. Very friendly and supportive. We've felt very welcome and at home. Berlin is a wonderful city. But I've never stayed in the Schöneberg/Kreuzberg area before. It's a lovely and lively neighborhood, 24/7 super market nearby (which is closed on Sunday from 00:00 am on Saturday!) and U and S-bahn nearby. The apartment was beautiful, well equipped and clean. I'll recommend The Palacina highly! Thanks much

Good location and a nice courtyard. I was scared at first because I had to call from out front with my cell but they answered straight away and it posed no problem. There was a nice little map showing nearby laudromats, markets, restaurants, etc. This was helpful but also necessary since their was no staff at any time to ask.

stops from the zoo station. The subway stop is a block away.
2. Several good restaurants in the immediate area.
3. Excellent buffet breakfast, albeit at 18 Euros a pop.

The apartment was pretty big and well equipped with everything you need for a few days. We enjoyed the BluRay Player! The restaurant is great for breakfast/dinner, with very tasty and modern cuisine. The apartment is in a good location, between PrenzlauerBerg and Mitte. The U-Bahn and StrassenBahn (BernauerStrasse) are just a few minutes walking from the apartment. Nice apartment very close to the Bernauer Str U-Bahn Stn. These apartments are managed through the nearby Raja Jooseppi Cafe and, despite first appearances, this was in fact a lovely little cafe with very friendly staff and some of the best coffee in Berlin. The menu was limited but the food excellent.

I had contact with the people by mail before ..I came on time ..everything was ready and clean ..she explain about the room and bathroom and give me the keys ..and told me where I could drop them by check out ..paid ..and that was it ..I could straitgh away enjoy my citytrip :-)
