  At first, I had booked a 16-day stay at the standard rate, which did not include a desk and a chair. I immediately upgraded and had a very enjoyable stay. I was also a little disappointed that there were few cafes and restaurants in the neighborhood and that the hotel seemed to be in a business district and residential apartment district. I also realized I was minutes - As noted, the rooms are small; however, they are well designed in that there are nooks and crannies as well as hooks that help keep everything organized and handy. The location is excellent, around the corner from the Spittelmarkt U-bahn station. There are eateries near the station--a bakery, konditorei and bierstube restaurant.   We loved every bit of our stay at the Palacina. The staff was very helpful, room was very very spacious and in immaculate condition. The attention to detail at this place is brilliant. Just 5 minute walk from a 24hr supermarket, the u-bahn station is just as near and the local restaurants are up there - My boyfriend and I had an enjoyable stay in The Palacina. Felix is an excellent and kind host. Very friendly and supportive. We've felt very welcome and at home. Berlin is a wonderful city. But I've never stayed in the Schöneberg/Kreuzberg area before. It's a lovely and lively neighborhood, 24/7 super market nearby (which is closed on Sunday from 00:00 am on Saturday!) and U and S-bahn nearby. The apartment was beautiful, well equipped and clean. I'll recommend The Palacina highly! Thanks much

  Relatively cheaper than other three star hotels. It could make you feel at home as this is the actual residence with one bedroom and separate kitchen/bathroom. The good thing was there's a washing machine but no dryer.

  Very little to like, if your a backpacker then you can have your own kitchen and a washing machine so therefore OK for someone who has been in dorms for the previous days or weeks but for anyone wishing more comfort than a hostel you won't really get it here.

  The location was good. Very quiet, close to a underground / subway stop and close to free parking. The flat had good amenities - fast internet service, clean bathroom, good heating and hot water.
