  The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect, very close to the subway, and perhaps 15 minutes walk to the train station. We were able to walk right into the city center in about 15 minutes, and another 5 minutes to the lake. The hotel is in an attractive neighborhood and right opposite the Hallerstrasse subway station, which is one stop from the Dammtor regional train station (much nicer than the Hauptbahnhof main station in Hamburg). A complimentary glass of wine upon arrival was a nice surprise.
