  Almost everything about this hotel is fantastic. Very smart rooms with ultra modern decor. Bathroom open plan with room but toilet does have sliding door for privacy. Shower is great with multiple modes and no problems with going hot or cold. Bed is comfy with separate single duvets. Duvets and pillows are down but not a problem for my feather all... what people say » ergy. Spa on top floor is interesting, rather exposed so not for use by the bashful. Very pleasant and efficient reception staff. Incredibly well plac - It would be impossible to list what I loved about the Axel; I've searched to find something that could be improved, but the rooms, the location, the decor, the dedication fo the regitry staff to help in every way..are all outstanding. I had some shower problems with the hotwater, and both times, the young man at the desk came almost immediately to resolve the problem...and did so, graciously.and efficiently.   The location was very close to the U-bahn station and supermarkets for getting food for the apartment. The area is very quiet at night and we saw no trouble.I would highly recommend staying with City Rentals for value for money.   This is a design hotel with many great amenities. We were in a junior suite, but really like the fact that both the shower and the toilet were in a separate cubicle from the rest of the bathroom. There is also a bar in the hotel, which is open till reasonably late and which serves great cocktails and also has a wonderful selection of high-quality ... what people say » drinks (German fruit brandies, whiskies etc.). The bed was also of good quality, and there was plenty of cupboard and wardrobe space as well. - I received a great welcome when I arrived and the staff were very helpful and accommodating throughout my stay. The hotel has all the facilities I needed (in-room wifi, room service, taxi call service, etc) and met my expectations. The room was functional, but contemporary in design with a huge bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Conveniently located for Messe Berlin and very central for getting around.

  This is my most favorite hotel that I have stayed in during my 2 month trip through Europe. The price was definetly affordable for the accomodations, the staff was incredibly helpful and I really couldn't of asked for a better room. I definetly will stay here again every time I am in Berlin.
