My room had an amazing view of the river (this was in December), with the museums and the lights reflecting on the water. It was clean and spacious and had lots of cabinets and shelves. It was also nice that they provide fruit, bread, etc. when you first arrive. The apartment is not in the central tourist area but I walked home alone at night from the Christmas markets and felt very safe. - Anonymous

This was a perfect place to spend the weekend with family. The hotel is centrally located, near public transport. There's a nice small park out front and the hotel-staff are very helpful. Also, the rooms are clean, breakfast is good and the living room was large enough for 6 people and 2 kids. Also, the kitchen had a full-size kitchen with oven, microwave and stove. We'll be sure to return if we visit Frankfurt again. - Arjo

Very charming hotel. Huge room, beautifully decorated. Kitchen facilities included, though I didn't have a chance to use them. Close to the train station, but on a quiet side street. Very nice. - Kristin

We liked their (the crew's) warmness, and attentiveness. They were readyto solve any problem good willingly and efficiently. We felt like beingwith friends. Generosity is the policy of this hotel and it makes youfill like being at home. The view of the river and the short walk to transportation. The excellant breakfast, and our room was outstanding. My 7 year old grandson could roam where ever he wanted safely. - Ken

I have to say that the Hessischer Hof is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. All the staff are friendly and helpful especially the head waiter who accommodated us for dinner despite us not having a reservation, The room and public areas are furnished with real taste and style. The dinner and breakfasts were excellent. I felt that the hotel staff really wanted your stay to be enjoyable. - Clive
