  One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Very pleasant staff and rooms are fantastic! Location right next to Hagenbeck Tierpark makes it a great choice for Families and the Bus and Trains are leaving 500 m away to get into town in 15 minutes!!! Great Bar and Bar-staff super friendly!   Very chic hotel with fancy decoration - only paid 105 € a night for a single room in august 2008 - quite cheap - chic area with nice boutiques and restaurant plus near to Alster Lake - Gorgeous view from our room over the breakfast patio. Quiet at night, amazing location on the lake. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and always answered yes (... what people say » with a smile) to our tentative "Sprechen Sie Englisch?".
