The area was absolutely wonderful, literally beside the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag and the beautiful Unter den Linden with lovely cafe's and restaurants. The facilities in the apartment were great, I was surprised how big it was and how bright and comfortable it was. There is a shopping centre 20 meters from the front door that has 2 supermarkets in the basement. There must be at least 30 restuarants witin walking distance as well as the sony centre.   Rule number 1. Know all the entry details. We had a few problems with late trains, but Dorothea was excellent and so helpful.
