  Superb hotel for the price bracket. Very good standard all round. Room was excellent, very well appointed. We had a slight problem with the heating system. Immediately, a maintance engineer appeared to fix it. We were moved to a lovely room and then offered an upgrade to a corner room.   We had a problem with our room (it was smelling smoke) and people from reception had a quick and nice reaction, they changed our room, thing that we appreciate a lot. Breakfast is quite good with a german touch (muesli, german delicatessen and german cheeses, german bread). This is a really confortable hotel (beds and comforters...). Well located... what people say » (5/10 min from Museum Island, 10 min from Alex / Postadamer platz by Ubahn+walk, 20 min by walking from Brandenburg Tor). - The staff was very helpful in providing excellent restaurant recommendations within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel was situated within walking distance of Museum Island and the Nikolaiviertel so sightseeing was easy. Having a subway station across the street gave us convenient access to the rest of Berlin.

Thanks for you hospitality it was very - Hotel was walking distance to most of the sights. Once you find the hotel it is easy to find your way back. The difficulty was by car locating the hotel and how to drive there. The entrance is not on a main road but on a tiny 1-way street that runs between 2 main roads. A friend who grew up in Berlin was driving me and we circled a few times before spotting the entrance to the hotel. I'm sure a taxi driver would have no trouble locating it. Lots of shops nearby as well as a train station.
