The steep vineyards of the Moselle valley, home to famous white wines, is just a 10-minute drive away.

Travelling information

If you are travelling from the North, drive along the A61 motorway until you reach the Mendig exit. Continue via route L262 towards Mayen. Follow the signs for the A48 motorway. Drive along the A48 motorway towards Trier until you reach the Kaifenheim exit, then continue towards Treis-Karden. Turn right at the Moselle river. At the traffic lights, turn left across the bridge. After the bridge, turn right towards Treis. At the 1st junction, turn left onto route L108 for Kastellaun. After 11 km, turn left onto the Luhnhofweg in Lahr. You will find the hotel at the entrance to the town, on the left-hand side.

If you are travelling from the South, drive along the A61 motorway until you reach the Pfalzfeld exit. Continue in the direction of Kastellaun/Hunsrückhöhenstraße B327. In Kastellaun, turn right 100 metres before the Aral petrol station and continue towards Treis-Karden. Follow the route past Uhler, Korweiler, Zilshausen, Petershäuser Hof to Lahr. In Lahr, turn into the 1st road on the right, the Luhnhofweg. You will find the hotel at the end of the road, on the right-hand side.
