  My husband and I had a "get-away weekend" in Heidelberg and we were very pleased with our stay at Villa Marstall. We meet the owner and his wife who were very pleasant and helpful as were their staff. The location was perfect, along the Neckar river yet a short walking distance from the center of town.   The staff were brilliant and their English was superb, unlike our German! We stayed for dinner at the hotel twice of our four nights and it was excellent, we ate the same meal both nights! Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choices at the best price I experienced in my Germany vacation. Casual atmosphere, clean and cozy.

  Very comfortable, outstanding staff. - Staff was friendly and helpfull. The hotel was easy to find and within walking distance of the train station. A Tram line ran past the hotel, which was also convienent. The hotel itself was very clean and well organized.
