all reviews » The location is perfect! You are close and can walk to main attractions on foot. Shops at the railway station are open at night what is also an advantage. The room was spacious, and despite the fact that we had shared bathroom, it was always clean and available. The stuff was helpful. We are satisfied. I liked the place the room was very small but fully equipped the only problem was the stairs it was very diffcult to carry your baggage up stairs even when using the lift. Central location close to main train and bus stations, friendly helpful staff, good price, phone in room to call reception, bag storage after checkout. The staff were helpful, the room was small but I expected that, clean, comfortable bed, able to leave the window open all night, quiet. Excellent value for money and just a stone's throw from the Hauptbahnhof. The breakfast buffet was also suprisingly good!. It is really 2 minutes walk from central train station. the location was the only positive thing about this hotel. - The location: really close to the central station. good breakfast and nice environment. Close to train station. 1. Hotel name not too conspicuous and hence not easy to find. 2. No staff in the hotel from 10:00pm-6:00am. Luckily we arrived at the hotel just before 10:00pm, otherwise don't know whether we can check in (our booking is non-refundable). 3. Dining room will be locked when no staff is in, so there's not too much space in the lobby for wifi. Our room was in the basement so Wi-Fi was accessible mainly at the window sill. But as far as I can remember, the hotel description did not promised Wi-Fi in the room. Reception closed overnight, tv remote control not working, only one bedside lamp working, we had to ask for towels (they were brought when we asked but were hand-towel sized). Wifi only in the dining room which is locked at 10 pm, or the lobby, no tables and only two chairs. However one of the staff bought me a table from the dining room for my computer. Wifi signal truly appalling even in the so-called public area (and poor phone reception too). Also, reception has very limited hours - no personnel from 14h onwards. Big antique tv took up 80% of the desk, rendering it useless as a desk. Wifi only in lobby. Shower is awkward. Bed was not hotel class comfortable, just ok. Mmmm-- nothing really. The breakfast guy was very mean. He was too strict with the breakfast timetable considering that the hotel gave us the wrong info about the closing time. The room was super hot and without fan. not 24hr reception. The lift only operate in the morning till afternoon. Wifi only in lobby. No vending machine. Since Hotel Condor was redecorating their Hotel, we had to stay in a neighbor-hotel; Hotel Eden. I therefor has reviewed Eden hotel. Expensive, booking alterations for additional fee. Very small and absolutely non-soundproof room. The elevator is very narrow, can serve only 2 persons with luggage! Also, it can't reach topmost floor, and will be closed after pm23:00 or 24:00 (I'm not sure when) must take attension on this! I have found a towel not really clean, this should be improved!. without recepion in hotel at the night. Breakfast is served in the other hotel nearby. Noise of the bathroom ventilation when you turn on the lights. Carpets old that Gabr a strange smell to the room. I was surprised that I got a room underground! The room was very small, it had small window with a huge wall just behind, so it was very unpleasant to be in the room. Also the bed was extremely soft and therefore very uncomfortable. When you book the room, I would suggest to make sure this will not be underground. it does not deserve its 3 stars. small rooms, extremelly small bathroom. no toiletries. the window was broken and they promissed to repair it but never did. breakfast was poor and little options. - the room had just a light curtain and the sun come throught the window really bright and early in the morning - didn't like the fact that I only had the option with a shared bathroom - tv remote control didn't work. No staff to ask for help - No reception at all to help you with anything. stuff left after 2:00 pm but withour prior notice when i booked this hotel, we backed hurrily in order to check in. and the ventilation was not good esp. in summer. There is no lift to 4th floor and no lifts at all after 10 pm. No wifi in the rooms and the bathroom is very small, could hardly get in there.
