I found it all very good,Room clean, large(we had the basic room), good flatscreen. Beds were good, shower good , I could go on but realy we had nothing to conplain. The view from the room was funny, we could see Man At Work in an office. In previous evaluations someone complained about the breakfast but I found the breakfast very good. Scrambled eggs, bacon ,sousages, eggs salmon, and so on Friendly/profesional staff, great.. Close to underground station. Car park was great(10 euro/day).
all reviews » The hotel itself is excellent - nice design, full sound proofing in spite of Reeperbahn next to the hotel building. 3 minutes to the U-bahn. Taxi comes in a few min. Rich breakfast in The dancing towers with salmon and champagne. Free apples in the rooms and at the reception. Good wireless internet for free. SPA and beauty centre for those who wants (we didn't use it). The lobby with a bar looks rather glamourous, like in Bond movies. The price was very nice for a **** hotel. -The staff were Very friendly with excellent costumer service skills, which was a joy to see, coz it doesnt happen too often in Germany. -We took the standard double and the size of the room was big - The apples in the room were the most tasty I ever had. Give it a bite! ;). Very nice reception/restaurant area (really liked the art) Although the evening menu is limited, its good value and very nice food (good service) Bedrooms are very nice and modern, shower is excellent, room is spotlessly clean. Location for UBahn is very good. The hotel is excellently located right on the (still calm) beginning of the famous Reeperbahn and next to the St.Pauli metro station. For enjoying Hamburg's nightlife district there couldn't be a better hotel. The location was most happening place in hamburg with variety of restaurants and clubs close by.friendly and help full staffs .The rooms were clean and beautyfll decor with free Wifi. Nothing but:there are road constructions going on now (may 2013) nearby, that makes the entrance to the parking garage difficult to reach. Officialy one should take a detour along the park. But one could also drive 50 meters against the oneway , mostly deserted, street. Girls at the reception said us twice that breakfast was included in the price of the room. Although, at the check-out we must pay for it - and it costed 22 euro / 1 person / 1 day, so if we have known, we wouldn't take it. Be careful. - When we arrived at the hotel and stopped the car in front of it so we can unload the luggage, one guy with a flashlight in his hand start shouting at us that we are on his private property and we should leave straight away!!!??? - The hotel managemen should def take care of this issue! - The receptionist was trying to upgrade us for a 30 euros surcharge to a room aprox the same. Dont go 4 it unless u want a bath tube instead of a shower cabin. Breakfast rather expensive. Nothing. Breakfast buffet was 20€ so we skipped that. Payment when booking. I found the heating a bit difficult to control and there is no way to sleep with fresh air as the windows are sealed. The rooms were rather stuffy at night; the lack of an opening window and reliance on air conditioning made us all wake up each morning with sore, dry throats. The free wifi was welcome, but very hard to get on to. The breakfast was to expensive. The standard room temperature is 24°C. All good - nothing to dislike. Nothing. Great place. If you want to have 2 towels in double room for 2 persons instead of 1 or bathrobes, you have to call reception and ask for them. There is no hair conditioner. Wi-Fi is for free, but complicated to use, every time to connect you have to insert room number and you birth date and it takes longer before you get connection. The breakfast was so expensive. The breakfast was quite poor for 4star hotel. Due to some shows nearby, the parking, which is connected with the hotel was fully occupied. I had to park at the other one and carry bags by stairs (there was no lift) o the hotel for few hundred meters. This is not a fault of hotel. The street is simple very very crowded:). - gym equipment (no water / no weights) - Breakfast too expensive for what it is - Breakfast staff was bit rude. Nothing. all OK. Price for breakfast really expensive!!. Gym was not very well equipped Te/coffee facilities in room were limited. На завтраке все сидят на проходе у ресепшена, т.е. нет отдельного ресторана. Но мы не завтракали и это не было нашей проблемой. 4.60Euro for water in the room. No smoking Zone inside hotel. Break fast is very expensive. I can't think of anything now, maybe a larger gym... Room wasn't thoroughly cleaned each day. For example, they didn't give us clean cups after we has used them for tea. Absolutely great only expensive breakfast. Breakfast too expensive. The walk across the square in the rain to breakfast. Air Conditioning system is not very... understandable :) but OK finally. Service and non compassionate understanding of my situation when I required alteration of booking an the booking rate was no different to standby rates on the day.
