My credit card was going to be charged for the second time incorrectly. I detected the error, told them during check-out, and they said everything was OK, but it wasn't. I'm still struggling to get my money back.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The personel were extremely attentive, and practically predicted our wishes. The staff was great with recommendations and made all the necessary arrangements for dinner reservations (and changing them when we got caught up in shopping) ...etc. The service in this hotel was second to none. The experience in the spa was also great, very relaxing. Breakfast buffet had a huge selection, which was modified every day. We stayed in a "grand" room, which was quite luxurious, and we never hear a single peep from neighbouring rooms. The bed, the bed sheets, and the duvet were so comfortable (I'm going to try to buy the bedding for home too). The location is in the middle of everything. You don't have to walk more than 2 minutes to get to any of the main sites in the old town.

They cleared away our silverware so fast at the breakfast buffet that I constantly had to "steal" extra forks, spoons, and knives from neighbouring tables.

Spa, no smell of cigarette smoke in the corridors

Smell of cigarette smoke in the lobby-protruding from the street (Solution: no smoking within 10 m radius around the entry, like in the USA). No bidet in the bathroom.

What a great hotel. This hotel is superb in every way. The hotel lobby is big bright and modern and sets the tone for ones stay . The location is very good in the newly refurbished part of Dresden old town. The room was a delight, large high ceilings, modern contemporary design and a funky bathroom. The dining area was large, well designed and the breakfast was very good. I will stay there again if I return to Dresden. Staff were very professional.

This hotel is almost brand new. You can't beat the location. We were upgraded and had a large well appointed room. The staff was friendly, professional and very helpful.

Fashionably but soberly designed, bath tub inside the room behind decorative half-wall, separate toilet and shower, views to two sides (corner room), quiet, helfpful staff, excellent location.

Limited number of TV channels (no Dutch and Belgian channels at all, limited anglo-saxon and french channels).

Great location and extremely friendly & helpful staff. The room i had was very comfortable and surprisingly quiet given the central location. It has all the facilities of a big hotel but still manages to be inviting & friendly - i really enjoyed staying here. And as a bonus the city of Dresden itself is wonderful.

Top class hotel, relaxing, luxury feeling, modern design. Exellent professional and personal service, very attentive. Extremely comfortable beds and pillow (optional choice among 5-6 type of pillow). Bathroom facility within room very funtional. Very well insulated rooms and very silent air conditioning system. Silent location. Bike for rent available but book it advance.Bike storage room available. Ideal for city trip, in the historical centre.

The room was large and beautiful. The location in the Alt Stadt was perfect. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Hendrick went above and beyond to help us.
