A very practical apartment situated in a quiet neighborhood. No traffic passing through so very quiet. Parking by the front door. All the amenities of home, even a bathtub and balcony. 20min walk to the Dom and 15 min to Severinstrasse with nice shops & restaurants. The hotel was booked with some trepidation as the location, using google street view, looked uninspiring. It is on a fairly busy road junction, but our room on the 6th floor was very quiet. The hotel stored our cycles in a store room inside. Facilities at the hotel were superb ... a well appointed kitchen with dishwasher, sink, and all the basic utensils plus bedroom and separate small lounge area with couch, tv, desk and small table. First of all I think it’s really important to mention how friendly are the owners , they have offered a great warming hospitality and been so helpful all times ( if you are traveling with family this is the best place for you ), I have stayed in the ground floor flat , it’s very clean with an amazing garden and bathroom that children have enjoyed

We arrived at Cologne late in the evening following a series of problems on route. We were warmly greeted by our hosts who invited into their home for a meal. We can highly recommend the accommodation and the location. It was an easy and comfortable journey into cologne centre from the local train/tram station and there were a good selection of shops within easy walking distance.
