Uwe is a really nice guy, very approachable and helpful. My flight was delayed by 2 hours, getting into Cologne at 1am in morning, yet he still stayed up to let me in.
Bedroom: spacious, clean, and very comfortable.
Apartment: clean, organised, relaxing.
Location: excellent, minutes away from train station, cathedral, Rhine, museums and shops.
Definitely recommend it!.
-Uwe -the host- is the most charming guy, makes you feel welcome in a
second, and gives you lots of information about sightseeing and gay-life
in Köln (really usefull if you haven't been ther before, like me)

Location (5min walk from train station and cathedral), very friendly staff (Uwe), warm welcome (city map, tips, etc), very clean, big rooms, free coffee and chocolate, free use of kitchen. Straight people will be comfortable as well.

Shared bathroom (but it was incredibly clean), poor sound isolation.
The only disadvantage is that the bathroom was outside, but we were aware of this before we booked.

I didnt appreciate all the gay posters and magazines strewn about the
hotel and my room. It was a bit too gay for my taste. Nonetheless, a
good place.
