Great staff and very friendly, they always were on hand to help me with directions and as I had organised the trip for a large group the help was more than appreciated! Also the buffet breakfasts were amazing. I've stayed in hostels around the world and this is by far one of the best. Highly recommend staying here. The breakfast was very substantial and varied. Very clean, typically efficient is what you would expect from a german establishment. The staff were very good at speaking English as well as other languages I heard.

Very hard to find from a taxi drivers point of view. We had to stop at a different hostel to phone for directions. Parquet flooring made it very noisy if your neighbours were wearing heels. The pillows were too soft and I found I had to fold mine several times to get a good fit. Nothing. 440% price increase during cologne trade fair .... In the shower the water didn't flow away. Flooding the little room quite fast. Everything was ok for the price we paid. I booked a single room, which was in fact a room with 2 x bunk beds. It was just for me, so not a problem. Just don't expect a single bed if you book an individual room. Only one pillow, and it was much too soft. nothing. I ask for a single room, and there are 6 single bed in my room ... The desk for working is a little bit small. you can hear the noise from the bedrooms next to yours, rooms are not very well isolated. Nothing. Some rooms on the 4th floor are below the restaurant where the breakfast takes place and are therefore noisy. Quite expensive for what it is. Breakfast is nice but we missed fresh fruits and eggs. Price was a bit high. Poor pillows. Floor of room was dirty. Whilst my husband and children had no problems, I felt the beds were extremely uncomfortable. They were very hard and had scratchy sheets. The pillows were so thin I had to fold it over three times. beds are not very comfortable reminds me to my student days... room for 4 persons not so roomy like on foto ,leak of any polish TV channels,leak of iron in room ( listed in offer). The hotel was too noisy. Club just across my room. Poor noise insulation so I was woken up with loud noise of club and people coming back drunk and shouting in corridors both friday and saturday nights. Also the walls are extremely thin and you can hear everything from room next door. No carpet in corridors and rooms to absorb the noise so overall too noisy for comfort!.
