This appears to be a family run hotel and therefore very attentive to guests. The room was lovely, dominated by a large comfy bed. Furnishings are trendy and stylish. The bathroom was lovely, very clean and modern, and the complimentary toiletries were great. The building is an old building that has been renovated very tastefully, with great attention to detail. The breakfast was adequate with another family member in attendance, she was charming and attentive. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
all reviews » The receptionist was extraordinarily helpful - he did way more than what one normally expects and was always there and made me feel "at home". I loved the big spacious room and the very friendly room cleaners. The hotel is perfectly situated in walking distance to all city sights and amenities, perfect for a stay when travelling without a car. Good hotel in a good location. Friendly staff at the reception, very helpful. Very close to Messe and city centre. Nice modern hotel, will recommend it. Free apples, also nice people. Breakfast was ok too, although not really worth he 10 euros. Location: one stop by tram from Hbf but quiet location, clean, recently renovated. Nice personnel. Lack of lift could be a problem if guests have a lot of bulky luggage. It was no problem for me as my one bag was carried upstairs for me by the man at reception. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room would be nice, but didn't detract really. I would have preferred a coffee/tea making facility instead of the minibar but that is just personal like/dislike. In the room we had you will have to be able to ignore noises from the street when the tram is passing by - but honestly when you're tired that does not bother for long, ...!. No minibar in single room, no lift. No elevator, we lived on 3rd floor. Not good for the weak-hearted/old... Wery small toilet/showeroom. The shower was poor and the staff was not so good to speak English. Sink and shower did not drain properly. Step up into bathroom unexpected and easy to bump into. NO ELEVATOR for carrying heavy luggage. the toilet had some problems. uncomfortable facilities ,e. g. no heat,no elevator, no electric outlets too expensive without breakfast. Bathroom was really TINY and there was literally no space where to put your toothbrush. There was a constant bad smell coming from the shower. We didn't have breakfast (10 EUR) as there are much better offers in the city center. Breakfast food - tragical. You pay 10 euro, but there is nothing to eat. Hotel price does not comply quality. The staff couldn't speak any english. beds are very uncomfortable, pillows are awful, bathroom is very tiny.
