That is really a historical and very nice hotel and it is really cheap.Rooms are really big and comfrtable, the hotel has its own parkinggarage for 6eu and the breakfast is really good and colourful. Very clean, staff very friendly. Perfect place to stay if you don't want to pay too much and want to be relatively close to the train station. I will stay there again.ease of location.

The hotel is located centrally, yet on a minor street and is not affected by excess traffic noise. The furniture and decoration are beautiful and the breakfast room especially delightful. Easy access, however improvement of the route desciption from the Haptbanhof is required, very easy to miss the underground passing of the traintracks.The staff were very friendly, and very willing to help with directions, etc. location - close to center but far enough away to be quieter. For those who are very sensitive to smoke and smokers, the rooms do have a smell of smoke to them.Slighltly overprized, equipment/decoration of the room is very simple (the bathroom, however, deserves four stars). close to the bar, bit noisy if u wanna sleep good without ear plugs. Sharing a bathroom. No fan or air conditioning. Window would not open enough to get a breeze. Poor noise insulation, shared WC. When I was checking out. The lady wanted to let me to pay for a phonecall i didn't make. While I wasn't there at that time. I didn't have to pay but see threated me like a thief. I wasn't happy about that and think they have to check first If their employees hadn't made a phone call. Lumpy matress (due to the springs), very low lighting in room, room did not feel clean, old carpets and furnishing in the room, a cheap 'make-shift' shower in the room didn't really work well and having to visit the shared WC was a bit annoying (particulary at night).The room was too smoll, and the shower in the room was ugly. But all was clean!. Only 1 douche for the hole floor!! During the night it was very noisy.The floors are peeping.There was no central light and one of the side lamps did not work. There is no air conditioning so during hot and humid periods, the windows need to be left open 24 hours which increases noise pollution. The most significant point of all is that my room was left unlocked by the housekeeping staff and when I complained, I was met with nothing more than a shrug of shoulders.
