Location wise bang in the centre of Bochum opposite the Train station, so no need for a car. There are complimentary toilettries and a mini-bar as well as internet access. We went as part of the "Starlight Package" - which was excellent value - bed, breakfast, dinner, cocktails and show tickets for 160 euros per person (and the show (although in German) is well worth it. Hotel staff that we encountered were very nice, spoke English very well, and made us feel very welcome. We found it a very relaxing stay, although short, and as we were travelling through Germany into Poland, this hotel was certainly very convenient to the train station. I booked direct with the hotel on there web site for €99.00. The hotel is very easy to Find and visable from the Motorway. The check in was very fast and friendly and full instructions were given on the Resturant, Breakfast and Bar opening hours. The room was Excellent and the bed was so comfortable there was a Flat screen TV on the wall with CNN, BBC News 24 and Sky News channels for English guests and 20 German Channels. The rooms were modest-sized, but the ambience was cold and uninviting. The ground-floor tall windows looked out onto the lawn area, and curtains had to be kept closed for privacy.
