We arrived very late, and they had a system that allowed us to check in eventhought they where not at their office.

PERFECT location...200m from the Zoo, 50m from metro station, around there are plenty of small and big shopping malls. The room was literally HUGE (no.5) !! The lady who welcomed me was kind and booked me a taxi for next morning. Also, although it's on a big boulevard, I heard NOTHING from outside... What surprised me is that I had an iron board like the ones you find only at 5* hotels (!)

It looks something between hotel and hostel but nothing negative actually. Cannot tell much cause stayed a few hours hence did not try breakfast.

Excellent location - a few yards from the U bhan station on Wittenbergplatz and easy to get to all the main sights. Hotel quiet - was able to get a good night's sleep. The staff were delightful - friendly and helpful with good English skills. Lovely view of the square from the breakfast room, and gratis chocolates and painted eggs on Easter Monday.

As with most hotels, the tv was fixed on the top of the wall making it impossible to see properly in any kind of comfort - a couple of English channels would have been a nice touch too. Breakfast: too much meat, and not enough cheese if, like me, you are a vegetarian.

The hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly.

We slept in a double bed that didn't have a double quilt, the bedding provided was two single quilt covers which were not practical.

Its location and the friendly person who runs it.

They should inform guests ahead of time that nobody is there in the afternoons and evenings to welcome them: keys must be picked up at the restaurant next door. I had to make an expensive phone call to find out.

The location is perfect. The resturants to the right and left where very good nice food and good prices.Hotel is small but ample for a weekend break rooms clean.

Breakfast the second morning not as good as the first the varity very limited.

Situation, nice hostess, automatic light in the corridor, silence, rain :)

Not bad, but some NB: There is no reception in this hotel (pension), and it’s very difficult to find host (and keys) in the evening. I advance to call to Zimmer des Westens, when you are not far from the place. And one moment too: the hotel has not headline, it's simple big hard old-style door in the right of the cafe “einhorn”.

Very good location, near to underground station.

It was problems with getting into hotel in 9:00pm.

I liked that it was in the square and was a short walk from the tube station. The parking was easy and at the hotel. The room was nice and cozy. The 2 woman we meet were pleasant. It also seemed very safe.

The hotel was very hard to find, even with a GPS. It is a family owned hotel, so it is very small. 10 rooms in 2 hall ways, which wasn't all that bad. Once we got there, we were taken directly to the room and she took off. Apparently they were waiting on us and had somewhere to be. We had a few questions and wanted to use the free internet. Didn't know how...

I liked its convenient location

Yes, I was not informed about my hotel code or room number and so was not able to access entry on the first night and had to find alternative accommodation for that night.

Breakfast the first morning had a very good variety of food but the second morning it was very poor selection and service. We arrived for breakfast both mornings at the same time.

Very quiet although centrally located.

When we arrived we were told that we would not be able to stay in the room we booked for the first night as the bathroom was out of order. Even though we arrived after 2pm the room was still not cleaned and smelled of cigarettes really strong (I ordered non-smoking room). The staff said she cannot force people into not smoking. 5 mins later she moved us to another room - not cleaned either.

Very difficult to find and entering in the hotel in evening time for people without knowledge of German language

Dirty, staff was not able to speak other languages, I was waiting forsomebody who open the door for me...they didnt informe me that I have topay for parking when I arrive...
