My 2 sons and I really enjoyed this quaint hotel that is a hop and a skip from the Berlin zoo and the Zoo Station S-Bahn and U-Bahn. So much to see in the vicinity of the hotel, and everything else was an easy train ride to. We really loved the outside architecture (cool staircase) and then we always took the flights of stairs to the lobby level (but there is an elevator), and then the spiral staircase up one flight. The rooms were clean and comfortable. . . and free wifi! Just down from ur Hot.
all reviews » The location is perfect if You want to shop around Kudam or visit this part of Berlin. And if You want to go east, metro station with direct connection to Warshauer strasse is just few meters. Staff is very helpfull, speaks well english + other languages. It can get hot in summer due to big windows, but the aircon works well. I would suggest takeing the little more expensive comfort room because standard one is very small (at least mine was). Breakfast is good, rooms are very clean, free WiFi w. We liked everything! This is budget friendly hotel! But even if would have paid more - it could be in worth of!!!! The hotel overcomes any expectations! Its more than you can expect! - Location - perfect - in the very center with perfect connections to other parts and all touristic destinations! - Appartments are very large! - Appartmenmts are perfectly equipped with iron, kettle, coffe machine, oven , microwavw and etc. - breakafst is very good. - staff knows what does it mean to find s. The staff is very genarous and helpful, me and my friends were very delighted thanks to the good fellas at the reception who suggested great places to travel, where to eat and even helped us when our things got lost. The location of the hotel is also a great success! On the street that the hotel is placed, there are great Italian restaurant named Avanti and there is a great pub right benith the hotel and I didnt even mention that the main shopping street of Berlin is right there. Breakfast area could be planned better, hard to get at everything due to narrow passage at the end which became blocked with only few guests present. There are no lifts from reception to the rooms and the rooms are only accessible via a steep winding suitcase .. Very difficult if you have a heavy suitcase ... But the receptionist helped me sour was ok :). the positon of the room the halls. The noise from the street. No extra services available in hotel. 11am checkout time. Difficult access to the rooms due to a spiral staircase.
