For me this hotel was very good located. Near is shoping area, concert halls and very good Jazz club "Quasimodo". In the road crosses are food and fruit shops. Nice clean hotel close (10minute walk) to Zoologischer Garten. Good breakfast!. Nice hotel, friendly people, price and what you get are ok. Nearly to the centre of Berlin. Value for your money. No credit card are allowed. This is something patrons should know before they book this hotel. Internet access was not free. - Staff speak only German or Russian: no English. Hotels like this must receive dw-tv. It is the only bi-lingual channel!. It problem , to pay at hotel by card. also problem with lift.no telphon. no toilet in the room. no english speaking staff, doors to rooms straight at the reception (noisy). My single room was so small I could hardly move about. There was little ventilation and very disappointing..it was the size of a cupboard. Need to climb a flight of stairs to get to the lift. The hotel is old and the room is not in very good condition. The room is a bit dark - not enough lightings. Need to pay in cash. Odd, large pillows.Stairs to reach the entrance, no phone in the room, impersonnalfurniture.the staff did not actually speak any english. - only german spoken, rooms very small, very noisy shared toilets, TV channels. Contrary to web site informaiton, the staff insist on paying cash on arrival, not credit card. My room was not made up 2 of 5 days. Staff do not speak English and limited German. Staff are unable to help with parking other than giving you a card for someunknown parking zone in the area. The wlan internet was not free as advertised - cost $5 euro.The cleanerdidnt replace toilet paper and had to go down to reception to try and askin sign language for toilet paper. I had to ask a guest in the breakfastroom to please translate my question about the internet to therecepcionist. Very poor customer service!.

From ZOO station: the hotel is 10 minutes walk away or a 5 minute ride on the number 149 bus.

From the Fair Grounds: bus number 149 can take you to the hotel in approximately 7 minutes.
