This is one of the high end hotels that one cannot easily find any faults. To me, H 10 had exceeded the 4 star rating. If you are looking a belin hotel that is value for money, H10 is the top choice. Afer the four nights stay I feel that hotels near Zoological Garten station is best used as a base if comparing other areas like Alexanderplatz and Hauptbahnhof. Counter staff are very courteous , room is modern, spacious and clean, bed and pillow are very comfortable, breakfast captain is very he.
all reviews » Booked three rooms for the weekend . The hotel is perfectly situated, only 100m from the Ku'damm with all the shops etc. Hotel & rooms were very well maintained and clean. Reception staff was very professional and helpfull. Rooms on the 5th floor were silent and spacious, as were the bathrooms (with all amenities provided). Beds could be a softer though. Bar closes at 00.30, unfortunately they don't carry port or sherry... But a nice choice of whiskies aso. Breakfast is served as a buffet a. This hotel has a good location next to a subway station (U-Bahn). If you are coming from or going to Tegel airport, you can use bus 109, which has a stop only 500 m from the hotel. We had a nice room on the third floor facing a courtyard, so there was no noise from traffic. The breakfast buffet is varied and excellent. The staff was helpful and friendly. Some observers will say this hotel is perfect. I will say it is close to perfect - perhaps I am a difficult customer. It is one of the best value for money options I ever seen not only in Berlin but elsewhere. Excellent location, modern classy design, perfect and abundant breakfast, friendly personnel. Excellent location for tourists just south of Zoologischer Garten, meaning excellent public transit to both airports. The hotel itself is impeccably clean and polished. The staff are friendly, helpful and speak excellent english. The loft-style rooms facing the front street are gigantic with a kitchen, dining table and microwave which is super useful for preparing your own breakfast. Excellent sound insulation, you can't hear anything from the main street. The hotel is very new and stylish, rooms are well kept and quiet. As it's situated just a bit off Ku'Damm with immediate access to the subway, access to any place in the city is very convenient. Staff was very polite and attentive and could give good information about the surrounding area. Internet access was very fast and without any of the usual problems, staff readily provided a code that worked for 2 devices right away. The staff are very friendly, helpful especially the reception staff. The room and bed are very comfortable and I like the modern design, facilities and atmosphere of the hotel. The food was excellent and the location is very central. Definitely I will come back and recommend it to my friends. I do enjoy very much my stay in this hotel. IT was uber modern and perfect for my mom and me. It works as a business hotel with a bar downstairs. (2) About the breakfast room: sometimes the breakfast room is a bit crowded. The buffet it really long. When I walk from the buffet to my table with an object in my hand, I worry that another guest (or a member of staff) is going to bump into me. Although the hotel is impeccably clean and modern, there is something cold about the room design, E.G. the floor in the room is tile rather than carpet. The hotel seems to be optimized for business travellers rather than couples or families. The breakfast was prohibitively expensive. The mini bar was well stocked yet it was hard to utilize the refrigerator bc of how stocked it was. Would have been good if there was a kettle provided in the room. Wifi not available in the lobby. Internet WiFi connection was not that good, at least in my room 217. And cellular connection was not good at all (with any operator) in the room quite frequently my iPhone was showing No service, thus I missed couple of calls. The electricity could be turned on by placing one's key-card into a slot near the front door. Once the electricity was "off", neither of the two lamps near my bed worked, so I had to make my way to the bathroom in the night in the pitch black. I called the desk.. they were going to send someone up at 2 am, but I didn't want anyone in the room at the middle of the night...Bedside lamp instruction (or a double check by staff!) before the guest arrives is vital!. I tried hard to find at least one small detail about this hotel which I dislike, but I failed... The Wi-Fi connection was unstable on my handy, but this is minor because you connect as many devices to Wi-Fi as you want. It worked well on my computer. If you are allergic to non-cotton bedlinnens you may have a problem. But this is a problem with most hotels nowadays. Chair was not comfortable. Bad back support. very expensive breakfast 19eur per person. Spotty WiFi reception. They cleaned the room very late, and they did not change the beds during four days stay. -no sound isolation room-bathroom; room-street; room-elevator. -linen and towels had old yellow marks on them -no view -rooms are rather small. none. Only price for the breakfest is high enough.... there is no sufficient paking space as scope of Hotel also they do not reserve before arival to hotel. Although there was a large choice for breakfast, the quality of some of the products was disappointing. Also, in this price range/category we expected fresh orange juice. No double bed even though we asked for it. Strange entrance.. We came 2 hours early for the check in...and unfortunately we asked to wait until the check in time although there were available rooms.. Air conditioning, even disabled, was making some noise. As in many hotels, impossible to make the room completely dark (i.e. blackout curtains not very efficient). Laminate flooring of bedroom instead of carpets. Very minor things and won't prevent me from staying there again Breakfast a bit overpriced No sport channels to watch live games. A chamber maid came crashing into my room at 8.20am. Probably my fault as I didn't put the Do Not Disturb sign up but I would have thought there was a system where reception could tell them whether people have checked out or not... I liked it all. Bed was a fraction too hard. I liked everything but I was amused when the lobby barman turned to be unaware of Williamsbirne. ;).
