The stay at Boxhagener Höfe was the best experience I have ever had, in and out Berlin. I regularly stay in hotels but this stay was just perfect. The welcome is very warm and sincere. Nothing is too difficult, service is their keyword. The check-in went very smoothly and was also personal. I rarely have seen so much professionalism and genuine friendliness, especially not by a rather young aged staff. The apartment was spotlessly clean. It was light and spacious, equipped with all facilities. .
all reviews » This is one of the best holiday accommodations I have ever stayed in. It was very comfortable and like staying in a 5* hotel. The area is very cool with lots of restaurants and bars plus it still has the feeling of 'Old Berlin' about it. Very handy for rail connections. The staff are truly excellent and very welcoming, it was like staying with a close friend, you can't say better than that. Very modern appartment. Exceptionally clean, tidy and comfortable. Easy access to all areas of Berlin from the nearby S-Bahn station. Plenty of cafes and restaurants in Friedrichshain offering good food at low prices. Buy your breakfasts from the Bio shop next door. What is there not to like? I received the instructions by email to collect keys, was able to find my way to my room/apartment very easily. Very clean, really amazing place to stay. I think this is one place I will return to every time I am in Berlin. Hannes the hotel staff is really friendly and helpful! A little hard to find but once you get on the streets it's all good!!!. noise at night at saturday. Street is noisy A lot of stairs, no elevator. 65 steps up to the 4th floor!.
