A very homely Guest House in the heart of Gay Berlin.
Staff were friendly and aware of quiet times. Host/Owner was funny and genuinely inquisitive to improve your experience of Berlin.
Property was immaculately presented throughout - every area was very clean.
Guest rooms were spacious and had character. Common lounge/kitchen area was just like being at home in open plan living area but having people traffic to mingle and socialise.

An outstanding overall experience at Bananas: modern and comfortable rooms, multiple shared bathrooms so never a wait, high standards of cleanliness, shared kitchen with espresso machine, strong Wi-Fi provided throughout. Located next door to metro station and supermarket, cafes, restaurants within 5 minute walk. Prices were excellent and owners are very hospitable and welcoming.
It's perfect for what it is meant to be: right in the middle of the gay area, good bed, good bathrooms (they have shared bath rooms but enough for the total number of guests). No breakfast, but there is plenty in the neighbourhood. Owner(s) are friendly and give all the info you need. And the price is just great.
I liked the art and the hotels decor..one of my reasons for visiting
Berlin was to visit art galleries so here was a ready made collection!
The room I had was pleasant and quiet and I liked the 'come and go

The warmth and friendly atmosphere of everything about the Guesthouse and especially the helpful attitude of the two owners, Kurt and Josef as well as the chief man in charge during the day, Peter and also Gregory. I just can't say enough about this very special place.

Even they annonce shared bathroom in fact there are 4 bathrooms for few rooms only, so felt more private than expected. All is new, clean, perfect location for this sort of accomodation.
