Great location, beautiful apartment in a modern boutique design. The pictures don't do the apartment justice as it a lot bigger and better looking in real life. The girl that greeted us was extremely friendly and went out of her way to make sure we had all the information we needed to make our stay as enjoyable as possible in Berlin. all reviews » A great stay! We stayed at the 2 bedroom apt. For 6 nights. Katrin and Josefine were very nice and helpful. We had our cell phone with us so contacting them to arrange key handover was not a problem. The apartment is amazing! 2 large bedrooms, a really nice living room and a fully equipped kitchen! It was very clean and comfortable. The apartment's location is great- Simon- Dach Street offers many cafés, good restaurants and fun pubs and can be very easily reached by public transportation. Also. The apartment is stylish and has been renovated recently, the kitchen was fully equipped (inc wine bottle opener). It was nice and warm, plenty of heaters. We loved the location in the very hip area of Berlin with a great atmosphere and a cool weekend market just around the corner. Very easy to find a place for food/drinks. Would recommend this area for people interested in going out and finding small vintage shops away from the Mitte. The house was very well designed and beautiful. Nice windows, good sunlight, airy spaces and friendly staff. The street was vivid all the night with bars and cafes, so it is still safe to go in the house after an hour as there are still people around. In spite of the nightlife, you do not hear any noises when you are in the house. You can find 7/24 open markets around.There are two U-Bahn metro stations with 6-7 minutes walk. Great reception and explanation of 'must sees' in Berlin. New studio, well designed, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. All kinds of restaurants and bars in the environment. Quite good insulation of the windows so you don't hear the noise from outside. 8 minute walk from the nearest U/S Bahn. Supermarket, bakery, ... all at walking distance. A great place to stay during your visit Berlin. The apartment was lovely, it was tastefully decorated and much more spacious than I expected (we were in a studio). The location was perfect, lots of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Make sure you go round the corner to boxhagener platz for some quirkier bars. There is also a flea market there on Sundays and some cafes which do amazing sunday brunch buffets (a Berlin tradition). Just nearly perfect. The flat is beautifully appointed and so clean it was almost sterile! Kristen who met us there was so lovely and helpful. Fantastic location in the coolest street in the coolest part of Berlin but faces the courtyard so totally silent. Will defo be staying again when we return in summer. On one condition.... We liked everything - the best location for us with lots of samll arty and creative shops, 5 min. walk to flees-market, near Revaler ,east-side gallery, with perfect transport connections. Facilities, design of the appartment - everything very nice, We highly recommend. The apartment was everything you could need for a city break in a great area of the city. The amenities on street are excellent with a bakery opposite, other eateries and a supermarket very nearby. Although in a busy area the apartment was lovely and quiet. The studio was clean , it's not a Hotel so no cleaning happen during my 2 weeks stay , nicely the change the towels after 1 week. The streets around the apartments full of nice resturants and bars/cafe, and its near the Frankfurter Tor underground station ( 10 min wake ). Comfortable stylish and fully equiped appartments. Berlin public transport system make all locations very comfortable. Several tram stations, U-bahn and S-bahn stations are close to appartments. Shops, restaraunts and cafes are nearby. Excellent location and facilities. Booking agent Josephine was very helpful. Well equipped in general, spacious sittng/dining rm. sunny and light. The appartment was generally great, but. Wifi wasn't working most of the time. Twin bed, I.E. two mattrasses, quite uncomfortable for a couple. The wifi was unbelievably slow to the point of not being able to do anything. The tv wasn't working either (no signal appearing). However, I do admit that I didn't contact the owner about the tv as we really didn't need it so if you do, might check it with the owner beforehand. The apartment is on the third floor and you have to climb the stairs with your luggage. The staff helped with the suitcases however. There was no washing machine, our prior houses all had one. The wi-fi was poor, we couln't manage to keep it stable. When booking it's not clear initially that there is a 40 euro service charge. There is also a 20 euro late check in charge. However even with these fees the apartments were still good value. ...On one condition. Get the wifi is fixed. All the reviews are true in that respect. It's such poor wifi it may as well not be there. And we plan most of our trip and things to do on our iPad and iPhone. So consistently having to go downstairs for coffee to use wifi was a little annoying. Only thing that isn't perfect though. This didn't affect my stay but the U-Bahn station is a 10-15 minute walk away. Noisy neighbours upstairs!. There was no bathtub (pictures of the place show bathtub), but the shower cabin was very comfortable. It took us a bit of time (~15 min) to get ahold of the person to do the key handover, but once we got in contact, they came within 5 minutes with the keys. Overall: awesome experience. We only received one key for two adults. As there is no phone, it made meeting up difficult. Also, we could not find a working buzzer for front door entry. At times smoke from neighbors was annoying. Window covers were meager. More reading lighting would have been nice. Please consider supplying one mornings worth of coffee. DVD didn't work. The tacked on cleaning fee; cleaning is a part of any business. Get new pillows, they arent comfy at all. Something was wrong with WiFi, but its not a really big deal. better for a fun visit than business but i would stay again. the wifi connection was weak and had poor coverage except for the hallway. Nothing,. letsbookhotel.com did not specify there was a 40.00 late check in fee. These are not the apartments if you require consistent wifi access. This aspect could be greatly improved. Surrounding cafés had wifi that connected consistently. There was a poor wi-fi connection. Nothing.Everything was perfect. Nothing it was exactly as I required. Bath had no shower curtain or or exhaust fan. Internet connection was slow. Very poor Wi-Fi access, really shouldn't be advertised as having Wi-Fi. Missed a propper table to sit at and a nonfunctioning net. Poor wifi reach. weak wi fi signal. Temperamental wifi Thin walls. Very poor soundproofing, dirty linen in wardrobe. No internet in the appartments! During 7 days of our stay owner can't fix the problem with internet, just jam tomorrow. Poor internet which was really important to us and a reason why we booked this apartment. Also 3 flights of stairs with luggage which was not advertised. ok for us I guess? but we feel this should be advertised. An additional fee of 40 euro for cleaning is added but not advertised in the first instance on letsbookhotel.com. bedroom very spartan, no space beside bed and no bedside table or backrest. No microwave. No shower screen (broken?) or curtain. Payment by cash at arrival,is this standard practice?. WiFi and cable tv didn't work!!! And our contact never answered/returned our calls!! You should return some of the fee as we brought iPads and smartphones to plan our trips around the city. At this day and age I expect internet if you specify internet. It's a vital part of a short compact 3 days trip to Berlin!!!!.
