The hostel is located right next to Voltarstrasse u-bhan station (Underground) which was quite handy. But if you are up for a walk then Alexanderplatz is only 25 mins away. Alternatively you can hire a bike from the hostel for only €10 a day (Berlin is very cycle-friendly). Free use of internet (incl PC) in the reception area. All great stuff!. Friendly people, not fussy. friendly and usefull staff, nice breakfast, quiet, good location, not expensive.

The location of the hostel is also great! You can walk downtown or you can take the subway which is literary in front of the door! I was very happy to stay there. The Hostel staff was really great and we were attended nicely and pleasantly. it's quite and clean. The room is big and nice. The hostel is really cheap and easy to find. There are restaurants and food shops nearby. I have read som enegative comments on cleanliness, bed bugs etc. so went there with flash light and the first thing we did was completely searched beds, matresses under matresses, under mirrors, under pictures on walls and everything - did not find one. And the hostel was more clean than my dormitory when I was at college :-). No bed bugs bites in the mornings - stayed 3 nights so hopefully that is OK.Located close to the center, nice common-room with internet access, cheap breakfast. The hotel was in a central part of Berlin. I liked the location. As I was arriving late they gave me the door access code to let myself in. The bed was clean. It's a very basic hostel. Secure and near a u-bahn.The 2-bed room was huge, the price was good, and the location also good. free internet and location. Staff is really friendly. friendly staff. absolutely nothing. After viewing the room I took a taxi to another hotel. I did not stay. The distance to the nearest subwaystation.I had to wait my room for three hours, but it wasn't so bad. 1. It might be better if the shower cabins have doors. 2. How often the staff do room clean?. There are two things that can be improved: [1] It is extremely hard to find the entrance of the hostel, especially if you don't exit the right exit of the subway. A bigger label Amadeus Hostel Berlin would solve this problem very easily. [2] There are not enough bathroom and shower facilities. One needs to walk a lot to get to them and they're often occupied. how to get there should be even clearer.There were no locks on the showers and everytime someone opened the main corridor door all the bedroom doors on the landing would shake in from the draught - rather annoying at 3am!!. the shower is so so. Several showers were not functioning during my stay. Also, having only one female toilet on a floor proved difficult. Could be nore clean in the hallway and in the bathrooms and toilets. No possibility to make your cup of tea or warm up yor own food.Expensive for what it is. The hotel was in construction, no information available. no courtains at windows (way too bright) ; no lavaratory in the room itself ; Room to unpersonal, no decoration, just walls and beds. The toilets smellled really really bad and there seemed to be no attempt at resolving this. The corridors were dark and badly signed, so it was hard to find your room.It was unclear how to get to my room, it is a confusing set of corridoors and floor 3 is in fact accessed by getting the lift to floor 2 then finding the stairs. The checkout is only between 10 and 11. I had to return 1 day later to settle the bill as I needed to leave before 10 on the night I stayed. The place is still under construction, so lifts don't work. Room contained only beds. Shower rooms and toilets were very open to the corridor outside. Got only one towel for 2 people, and they complained when we wanted another one. There are better hostels in Berlin.value for money. There is no heating in the corridor, bathroom and toilets. Only in rooms.weird way to get up to the room dirty rooms and bathrooms bed was not comfortable . The host was impolite.Room was dirty.Badly noisy throughout the night.The customers were provided with worse room than that has already been booked but were charged with same price of the original room without any reminder and negotiation.

From here, you can easily explore Prenzlauer Berg (1.5 km), one of Berlin's most popular quarters which offers countless shops, restaurants and nightlife venues. History fans will be drawn to the Bernauer Straße (1.5 km) area. Formerly on the divide between East and West Berlin, it is now home to the Berlin Wall Memorial and document archive. The famous TV tower (2.6 km) is just 4 underground stops away. Dine 204 metres above ground in the tower’s visitor centre. No stay would be complete without a visit to the Brandenburg Gate (3 km). Built in the late eighteenth century, this iconic building marks the end of Unter den Linden, the famous boulevard of linden trees.

The nearest U-Bahn (underground) stop is Voltastraße on the U8 line. From the hostel, you can walk to the station in only about one minute.

From Berlin Tegel (TXL) Airport, take bus number 128 to Osloer Straße. From here, take the underground line U8 towards Hermannstraße. Get off at Voltastraße. The journey time is about 30 minutes.

From Berlin Schönefeld (SXF) Airport, take bus number 171 and get off at Rudow. Take the underground line U7 towards Rathaus Spandau. Get off at Hermannplatz. Change for the underground line U8 towards Wittenau. Get off at Voltastraße. The journey time is approximately 50 minutes.

From Ostbahnhof railway station, take the S-Bahn (city rail) line S75 towards Spandau or line S5 towards Westkreuz. Get off at Alexanderplatz. From here, take underground line U8 towards Wittenau and get off at Voltastraße. The journey time is about 15 minutes.

From Hauptbahnhof (the central railway station), take S-Bahn (city rail) line S75 towards Wartenberg or line S5 towards Strausberg Nord. Get off at Alexanderplatz. From here, take the underground line U8 line towards Wittenau and get off at Voltastraße. The journey time is about 15 minutes.
