  The location is very handy. We've been to Berlin a number of times and with the standard of public transport, most central locations will be ideal for discovering the city - the same applies to the Generator. Loads of places you can walk to, U-Bahn just down the road and Freidrichstrasse station very nearby also. The hostel itself was clean and co... what people say » mfortable. The beds were warm and cozy, though we benefited from having spare beds in our room meaning extra pillows for us. The shower is excellent, - I stayed at the dorm room this time, and it was one of the cleanest dorm with most comfy bunk bed I've ever experienced. The 6 bed female dorm was cute and funtional; each bed has its own power socket, head lamp, huge drawer. The power shower was great too. The wifi was free with great signal up to my room. I'm not a dorm-room fan, but I definately recommend this dorm for anyone who does. The location is very close to most of attraction and metro. Supermarket, McD, KFC were a little bit far

  They had free wi-fi - it didn't work at first but was fixed quickly. The location is excellent - in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg close to Kastanienallee and many cafés and restaurants. In my opinion this is the nicest area to stay in Berlin - and I know what I'm talking about, I used to live there. - The best Ferienapartment in Berlin that I have... what people say » ever used.   This is a wonderfully situated apartment almost in the heart of the old East Berlin, but in a very quiet street just 3 mins away from Friedrichstrasse Station. There's a lovely little shop just across the road which is open until late and a bakery a little further along the street. The owner Andreas is a delightfully helpful man and the a - Andreas, the owner, was so lovely and welcoming - he made sure we had everything we needed and gave us advice on Berlin & how to get around. He was also really flexible around our arrival times and helped store our luggage on the last day as we had a late flight out. All our queries before the holiday were answered quickly and thoroughly which was a big help. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed, and the location is fantastic - loads to do in local area and train station 5

  I liked the fact that it was so close to a U-Bahn station, close to other major U and S-Bahn stations. The apartment was absolutely comfortable and it was equipped with all the basics one could need. The internet was pretty good for my basic needs, after all I didn't go to Berlin just to stay in the apartment. The only thing missing was a beer ope... what people say » ner, luckily I can open a beer with a lighter :) - Great price for nice apartments - but the key was the location. It was in a great area, right by U-Bahn and other public transport, and walking distance from some great places. There are also a few really cool bars very nearby - Mein Haus am See was particularly good. Recommend to any group of mates on a holiday who want to be in the thick of the action.

  Good location and a nice courtyard. I was scared at first because I had to call from out front with my cell but they answered straight away and it posed no problem. There was a nice little map showing nearby laudromats, markets, restaurants, etc. This was helpful but also necessary since their was no staff at any time to ask.

  Really interesting hotel, modern, comfortable beds. Fascinating rooms - bring eye shades! Nice to stay in somewhere a bit more original - Nice and clean room and bathroom, friendly English-speaking personnel, convenient location (near Central train station, close to big S-Bahn station).
