We used booking .com reveiws to see how good the hotels were in Val Thoren. This hotel got really good reveiws and when we arrived at the hotel it was all true. The staff very helpful and friendly , the appartment clean and comfortable and we even got a welcome pack. The ski in and ski out facility was a bonus. Right on the slopes on one side. Excellent location on the other with everything you need within couple minute walk: ski rental, ski school, lift ticket, bakery, grocery store, car garage. Clean apartment. Friendly and helpful staff.
all reviews » The appartment is very close to the slopes and to many other important sites, e.g. ski rental place, ticket office, supermarket, medical office. I a nit away from the main 'party area', which was great for good night sleep. There were two of us and separate bed rooms on a ski holiday was a luxury! We had direct access to the sloped and I liked having a lockable ski locker for my new equipment. Perfect location, right on the slopes, next to the bakery, and very very close to amazing and also affordable restaurants!. Right on the slopes, so if you need anything it's not a far walk to get back to your hotel room. Great location, friendly and helpful staff, clean and good sized room. Great Location! Mediocre matresses in the adult room for a 4* residence: we had to put the blankets on the floor to sleep on. Heating system took couple days to work at comfortable temperature. No soap bars in the bathroom!!!. The furniture in the appartment could be improved by adding at least one more comfortable chair. three sitting on the comforable couch and one opposite on a hard chair is not helping evening conversation or game playing. Not much to disagree with. The design of the bathroom was potentially hazardous in getting in and out of the bath to have a shower, nothing to grip and one steps in and out. Our contracted included cleaning in the middle of the week on Wednesday - which did not happen. Although it was right on the slopes, it was quite far from the main restaurant / pub area. This might be a plus for some but if you looking for a hotel close to the evening action it's a little far and buses only run till 8pm. However would prefer to be close to the slopes (avoid carrying your skis around) than be close to the even parties... Internet did not work at all. internet. Inadequate wifi access - only 2 devices allowed per apartment and our apartment was for 4 people. Nothing comes to mind. Everything was fine. Uncomfortable lounge seating Balcony not cleaned. Lounge and kitchen in need of updating. Kitchen utensils sparse and dishwasher on its last legs. Typical overpriced French ski village... Too small appartment not clean we use letsbookhotel.com long time (you can check) and never get so small for such amount the picture on the internet was not our appartment.

Cars are not allowed inside Val Thorens. It is mandatory for all visitors to pay to park outside the resort during their stay. An extra cleaning fee may be requested.
