  I went for my 50th birthday treat. The Madame who owned the hotel was so welcoming and arranged flowers/bouquet in my suite after an e-mail form one of my sons, I felt very spoilt on my birthday, at dinner where one of the waiters presented me with a lovely rose from the garden. The views were fantastic from our room and the pool, where they pro... what people say » vided towels and flip flops. - The hotel was so beautiful. Our room was up a spiral staircase so no problem for us. Wif-i, showers, fridges etc yet in a medieval castle. It was so lovely. We were overlooking the river in a beautiful room. We ate from the Gourmet menu which was really good and no more expensive than similar menus the next evening in Sarlat. The village was really lovely too.
