The room was spacious and the decoration was simple but rather pleasant. It was nice to have some facilities in the small kitchenet. It is though very small, do not expect to be able much cooking in there... The check in and out was simple and efficient. all reviews » The room was adequately equipped for my family and the beds were big and comfortable. The proximity of the hotel to the centre is very good and the parking space available was excellent. The addition of a dishwasher in the mini kitchen was very nice indeed and electric cooker and microwave made making simple meals for the day trip easier. The price I would say is just right for a family if four. Ample living space, clean showers and toilets. Nice modern hotel very close to motorway, but far enough away not to be affected by noise. Good location when returning to the uk from the South of France. Liked the apartment with kitchenette, had fridge, mini dishwasher, coffee machine, two cooking rings, microwave and pots pans etc, excellent for preparing your own breakfast ready for a early getaway in the morning. Really liked the layout of the room / rooms - it was all in one, but had dividers. It was really clean, a great modern design that made the most of the space. We are a couple with a 6 and 5 year old - they slept in the sofa bed whilst we had the regular bed. Lovely new hotel with fantastic staff at an amazing last minute price. We were on a bike trip, and usually stay in the cheaper hotels and this came up in between the search. It was such a treat, and surprise. Best accommodation of the whole trip. Although the room was double, there was only one chair, nice design but not very confortable, and a snall bench. So if you want to seat, eat a light meal, read or rest for some time the only option is the bed... A small sofa or a confortable chair would make the space much more enjoyable.The bathroom is spacious but there is also very little space to place anything, clothes, towels or toiletries... a small bench would also help there. Small details but could make the space more cosy. The only downside was that our room was located beside the main road and since it was summer we had to keep the windows open to cool the room down. This meant that the noise from the cars and trucks passing by was annoying. Air conditioning would have been great ;) or a fan even. Oh and by the way, make sure you have updated your maps on your navigator if you are using one as the location is on a newly built area that wasn't on ours. Still overall the hotel and the experience was great. Brand new hotel, obviously a few teething problems, the shower in the apartment flooded the bedroom as the bathroom was a partial wet room and no run off to point the water at the drain, and big problem no kettle. The location - nowhere nearby to order food. Although the receptionist did help us with take out pizza flyers... There were no facilities within the hotel / apartments to buy food. There was I think, breakfast available the next morning - but we left at 6am, before it was started. The light in the kitchen area would not turn off. So we had to ask for gaffa tape - I kid you not, to keep it turned off so the boys could sleep in the lounge area on the sofa bed. Absolutely nothing. Mattress very hard for both of us otherwise a great stay allround. Gym facities adequate but linkee with the sauna was disappointing. There could have been a jacuzzi or hot tub with the sauna as a seperate facility and would have made a lot of difference. Never seen this set up before. Not used by anyone during stay and was pristine confirming my thoughts on its popularity. Breakfast was by choice and wedecided not to take up cause too expensive for what Iis offfered. I wasn't aware about excellent self catering facilities within the appartment - will ensure we bring our own food next time. There is a mini kitchen in the room, however there are no utensils. Maybe it is something you need to bring yourself or ask, but would have been nice if it was already there. Too far from any action. Had to drive to get anywhere. To far to walk in to Riems center. Breakfast option was way too expensive!. Road works on nearby a34 and the new location layout makes navigation by SatNav awkward - but it's worth the effort ! This will be resolved in time when maps are updated. you have to clean after you if not they will charge you :(. The 13Euro for breakfast which consisted of very little (nothing warm) even though it was described as a "gourmet" breakfast was disappointing. Especially because the staff who checked us in did not inform us of the cost at check in. The drain for the shower is also not angled enough so water goes everywhere. Finally the check in staff only needed to give us a key, yet she answered the phone and continued to talk for 5 minutes rather than putting the phone on hold for 30 seconds. We stayed for 6 days and didn;t realise that the room wouldn't be cleaned. We therefore asked for a clean in the middle of our stay and they did this without charge. No on site/nearby shops. Need a car to get into the city. Breakfast expensive, so we bought our own at the local carforre supermarket. Highly recommended unless you need to be or want to be in the town centre. This hotel is a 5-10 minute - drive to the town centre. a small point but had to buy a clock as no clocks in rooms. Breakfast for a family of four was pricey, Adult 13 Euro's, Child 9 Euro's. Use the kitchenette and take your own. if we were to stay longer (ours was overnight stopover) a larger gym would have been great. lack of aircon could have been a problem if it was hotter. Bit too new, you could almost smell the paint! Did not realise it was in the middle of a commercial centre, but that was our fault . Felt a bit isolated but in truth only 10 mins from Reims centre. Very expensive breakfast we thought for what you got, but perfectly adequate. No restaurant in the hotel. The location is fit for people passing by, not if you want to visit the city on foot. Since I used a UK credit card for the reservation but intended to pay in cash, I lost quite a few pounds for using my credit card abroad. Therefore, the saving compared to other hotels was not that great. The breakfast was expensive. Out of town - so would be suitable mainly as transit hotel. No restaurant. The hotel is a little bit far from Reims downtown, so you need to have a car. The location was very poor, 3km outside Reims and only able to access by car. The hotel had no restaurant, bar or even facility to get a coffee when we arrived, and as it is in the middle of an industrial estate there weren't many places around it to get something to eat. If the apartment could be transported into the centre of Reims it would be perfect! But as a family with small children who needed to access decent eateries, supermarket etc it isn't the best place to stay. Lack of printing facilities. Breakfast was disappointing. Cold scrambled eggs and sausages. Drinking chocolate was good though.
