Outside festival time this is a very quite area of town - Lovely helpful staff in reception. Simple self service accommodation. Small kitchenette with kettle, coffee maker, electric hob, microwave and fridge. Warm (our visit was during cold weather). Comfy bed. Local shops for groceries and meals. If you want service (we didn't) then don't stay here. If you want a comfortable, clean, simple, base for exploring Avignon and its environs for a few days it's secure, convenient and good value.

The staff is exceptional and very willing to help in any way. We used Avignon as our base to travel all around Provence and felt we were returning to a quiet home estate at the end of each day. It was one of the best meals we had all holiday. So good we ate there twice. We cannot recommend this place enough.
