A really good stop-over hotel on our way to Dordogne. Would fully recommend a stay here and also do have the evening meal - a must!! Not at all expensive - 4 courses, including wine and all beautifully prepared. Our hosts were so welcoming and so very friendly that we wished we could stay longer. The room we had was very spacious, the kitchen has all you need, there is a small lounge area as well. The grounds are lovely, there is a pool for visits in summer. great venue for couples and families. Close to Giverny and Monet Garden. -

Breakfast was just something. And it was so different from usual breakfast in hotels in France. There were some specialities of Normandy, pate, salmon, chees, eggs, lots of tasty bread, jams and so one. Everything was as tasty, that we regret that we couldn't eat more)

The view of the Seine is amazing (look out for the ocean going container ships which dwarf everything around them but pass by very quietly!), the thatched cottages are romantic, delightful and beautifully set out.
