  The location was excellent after redelivering our hire car. Immediately a welcoming feeling came over us from the rather dirty streets of Perpignan-lovely & cool & very modern with artistic flourish. Very quick check-in, lovely airy room with real aircon. Superb wide double bed. We always carry a mini kettle so we could have a cup of tea-t... what people say » ea making facs always lacking in French hotels but no big deal. Great place to stay-very quiet. Had to leave for early train before breakfast but had - Great location within easy walking distance to shops, sights and restaurants. Bedroom small but very comfortable queen sized bed. Adequate buffet breakfast. Staff attentive and helpful. Only 10 minutes (20 euro) by taxi from airport. Would strongly recommend as a budget hotel.

  We booked a studio apartment, i.e. with kitchen area. We arrived late at night after taking non-motorway roads from Toulouse airport so as to see more of the countryside, but forgetting how big France is! Therefore we did not see much of the hotel when we arrived. Next morning we opened the shutters onto the balcony... Wow! the scenery in front of... what people say » us was similtaneously awe-inspiring and intimate. A lovely mountain river burbled over rocks a hundred meters away. Beyond the river the Vallespir s - Lovely setting on the river. The hotel is very basic but clean, and we had a room at the back with a lovely river view. Each room has a small kitchen which is useful as there are no great restaurants in town.

  This hotel is incredibly good value. The room was comfortable, very clean and quiet, the staff polite and helpful, and the breakfast was also very good. It is located in the outskirts of Perpignan with a couple of other hotels, so don't expect a selection of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance - presumably the location partly accoun... what people say » ts for the low prices. However, even though I arrived late on a Sunday and meals were not being served in the dining area, there is a Buffalo Grill ju - Warm welcome and helpfulness of reception at check in

  Helpful staff, comfortable room, lovely aspect from my room - The staff were all very polite. Although we did not eat in the restuarant it looked excellent, we had a nightcap there and again the staff were extremely helpful. 10 out of 10 for all the staff. Will eat at restaurant next trip.
